  • Hi All,

I have gone through the 6 Years of statements and all I can see is:

Upto £12 per Month for Overdraft facility, it started at £6.

Intrest on my overdraft each Month, these can be upto £70 a Month.

Is this what I should be claiming????

    Please HELP!!!

  • hi all
can i ask for multiple forms, requesting your bank statements under the Data Protection Act.
and can i do multiple claims,
i have recentlyl closed one buisness account and have one ongoing personal account with lloyds tsb.
would i ask for both statements in the same letter, and would the cheque still be for £10.00
    many thanks

  • CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE ABOUT CLAIMING CREDIT CARD CHARGES, ARE THERE ANY TEMPLATE LETTERS I CAN USE?:rotfl: :rotfl:
  • Would somebody answer a simple question please?

Can I claim for overdraft charges as well as the excess overdraft from First Direct (HSBC). I can't see it listed in the info but do feel that £30 is a bit harsh just to have an overdraft.:D
  • I got my old statements from Natwest this week and im not sure what charges to claim back for i have the obvious "unpaid items chg" "referal chg" and "card misuse chg" but can i claim back for the charges which just come as "31st aug 2006 charges 04 aug A/C (account number) then £12.00??"

If you cant identify a charge claim it and let the bank tell you why you cant have that particular one is the best advice I can give really. Good luck :)

In my opinion this is a service fee, not a penalty charge. The £30.00 is for the provision of an overdraft which you requested. The excess charges are 'fines' for going beyond the agreed overdraft so can be claimed.

This sounds like the charge for having a NatWest Gold/Blue account or whatever name they call it, if so, no you can't claim this back as its a service charge.
