I think I'm slowly getting the hang of this site. What about Nat West Revisal fee and OD arrangement fee. I can't seem to see either of these in your lists. Nettie0

Hi Gang.
does anyone know if there is a calculator on the site that does not include the interest.
Thanks.0 -
what im confused about is my bank statements show interest charged every month at varying amounts-plus the total charges. What is the interest charged for-and can i add this to claim as well as my charges? Its interesting to see that when ive been well in credit in the past all theyve credited me back with is something stupid like 16 or 18 PENCE!0

Can someone please help. I have started the ball rolling and am now having
problems calculating what Interest I can claim back. There is monthly interest
on the statements (whether or not I have exceeded the overdraft limit,)
these are the 'larger' amounts. There are regular small amounts and I am
having problems working out what is what. Would appreciate any help.
Thanks0 -
Please read the first post in this thread and the Reclaim Help Thread regarding what you can and can't claim. Basically you can't claim the interest on normal spending which results in you being overdrawn that month. (please ignore the poll that someone added to this thread as these are the amounts you can't claim)
If the phrase your bank uses regarding the charges on your statements is not on the list, check the abbreviations on your statements and/or ask your bank exactly what they mean.
Service charges for a particular bank account can't be claimed.0 -
This question has probably been asked many times. I have a number of bank charges over a six year period, should I claim the service charge (£25) for each time as well as the daily excess charges? As I have heard that it is fair for the bank to charge me £12 as a service charge should I let the bank keep the £12 for each of my charges or should I simply claim everything back from the bank?
Advice appreciated.

YesSorry but i have tried to understand what is listed in the first post but i am not savvy enough to understand how they relate to what i have been charged.
I have the following charges on my account:
Direct debit set up
Interst charged
Referral Charge
Fees for going overdrawn
Fees for going over overdraft
Also there are fees that were charged for having a packaged account but i think that i can't claim for them. If i am wrong please let me know!!
Can someone please let me know which of these i can claim back for?
Would appreciate any help.0 -
