Can anyone help, I have an Home Management Ac and a current account, all charges come out of the current account.
I am still not clear which charges I can claim back, I know about letter charges and s.o. charges.
Can I claim back what is shown as total charges.
By the way the bank is HSBC
Many thanks0 -

Just a very quick question to you as i see you are on line. I am ready to send my paperwork and 2nd letter, my rough calculations at the moment are £10,500 but I have two questions, I know everything seems to have been covered but I am really struggling to understand.
OD arrangement fee
Revisal Fee
Thanks a lot0 -
This has probably been asked a million times but plz help.....
I've started to go through my 6 years of charges on the first of my accounts with HSBC (£2k+ and counting - OUCH!) and they've been charging me for the pleasure of "bouncing" some Direct Debit and Standing Order charges! They've been clever by bouncing only those over their charge rate (namely £30 a time per DD or SO) but they've charged for EVERY bounce even if the request came from the same firm. i.e. "Phone company" makes a DD request, bank bounced, "Phone" automatically posts a new DD request the following day and the bank bounces it again. Hence £60 for a £35 phone bill.
Do these charges also come under the "illegal" bank charges and so could be claimed back, or have I got to let these slide (£270)?0 -
Hi Gang.
I have gone through the 40 day business with Natwest, and they have supplied me with the last six years statements in one go, and a whole week and a half earlie too.
I was just going through the sheets, and wondered if we are allowed to claim back the "un arranged borrowing fee" of £14.00 which I have seen quite a lot so far.
Many Thanks for any info and help.
PS, without wanting to sound like a complete idiot, what is the preferred format for sending in details of what charges you are reclaiming. Please don't say an excel spreadsheet . . . . I hate Excel0 -
I believe you can claim back all charges the bank has charged you unfairly."I AM THE GATEKEEPER OF MY OWN DESTINY" Nacho Libre
