As far as the credit card company are concerned, you didn't pay on time. Whether you pay one day later or one month later or never, they still charge you a Late Payment Fee.

Hi guys, just starting out claiming against Lloyds Tsb.

We have recieved the statments back and i'm going through them ready to input them into the online calculator.

On the statements it says :CHG O/DRAFT INTEREST & CHG O/DRAFT EXCESS FEE both are charged on the 1st of each month.
My question is....do I add them both together and input them or just input the FEE ?

    Hope this makes sense.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jon

Excess fee is okay, o/draft interest isn't, have a read of the first post in this thread.

  • My statements show fees charged and also charges of £8 per day for exceeding my overdraft. On a number of occassions I have to wait for internet transfers to credit my account as my local branch closed down so I cant pay into my account at a branch. Can I only reclaim fees or can the daily charges also be reclaimed

I know i am about to show the size of my IQ here, but what exactly can i claim back of the banks. The reason i ask this is beacuse there are some 'cash advance' charges on my statements. Most of them are for £1.50 which i assumed was the charge at the cash machine. However there are quite a few that are for over £20 which i find a bit much! Please, Please Help!
