    Agree with that lol! The boyfriend and I went to a Fish and Chip shop in SW London, not far from where we live, and it was £6.50 just for a fish, chips were £2 a portion ... needless to say we didn't bother lol.

    And another non-OS 'secret' - I hate cheap loo roll!

    I'm ashamed to admit this, but I buy jars of Loyd Grossman Puttanesca pasta sauce - because I like it :o
    And sometimes frozen roast potatoes too -sshhhh!

    Clearly I have a long way to go compare to you lot! :rotfl:

    * Hair cut and colour (although I am considering ditching the highlights for a brunette that I can do at home)
    * Wine & beer - but in the house, not in a bar (life's too short for no pleasures!)
    * Green & Blacks

    Most things I'm canny about TBH - for example, whilst I buy the cheapo washing powder, I do buy decent fabric condistion, but I buy whatever is on offer. Asda had some Lenor concentrate for £1 last time (and the time before that it was Comfort with a free pashmina) which I can justify. OH likes Heinz beans, so I stock up when they are 4 for £1 from Lidl etc. I buy oven chips, but they are the value ones etc.

    Re: readymade pizza - Lidl do a stone backed margherita for 99p which is lovely and stuff can be added to. Big enough for two with salad, pasta or pot wedges.

    I am confused - a few people have mentioned Heinz Baked beans as non OS. How is that :confused:
    Surely you can't MAKE them?
    Also someone mentioned buying meat from the butcher... I would have thought that was more OS than using a supermarket (in the Old days they only had butchers)
