    Excellent thread.

I buy Hellmans mayo and use it as spread instead of butter.
Also use Hellmans as a dip.
    Buy jars of pasta sauce.

I've tried making bread a few times but its usually rock hard or raw in the middle.
    So I buy Hovis Wholemeal

    Use Boots Mediterranean smellies
Use decent conditioner as my hair falls out at an alarming rate and hope this will help.

Use cake tin liners instead of scrubbing them clean.

Eat out in garden centre cafes, and the like, quite oftern.

    Wine

2 Drinks in pub twice a week.

    Just remembered too about Bisto.

    Oh and Princes Mackeral.

Anything with a yellow sticker! If i'm in the supermarket and I see a ready meal down to 50p, a red mist comes over me and I just have to buy it.

Another terrible sin to confess - I have a cleaner! Before I'm ejected from the OS board forever, I'd like to add in my defence that I live in a shared house and two of the housemates here are sooooo disgusting, in the end it was the only option. I mean seriously disgusting. It just got too much having to clean up other people's wee from the floor and collect hanks of hair out of the shower plug because it was backing up everywhere!
We all split the cost of cleaner between us, so it's not too bad, honest!

This thread is easing the guilt I feel at...an expensive hair cut and colour every five weeks (well, did try self colouring once -eeek! and need to maintain professional image!!!) and expensive face creams - at my age I need all the help I can get - and the cheaper ones don't do the biz! Oh dear...I do feel guilty stilll..

Fantastic thread, I'm absolutely amazed how many people have a man in to clean their oven! Totally gobsmacked! (and that doesn't happen often :rotfl: )

Errmmm.... that would also be pastry for me too (and sometimes I even lie and say I've made it myself :D ). And I drink way too much coke.

I also don't clean the oven if I can help it. I just coat the bottom with foil and just replace the foil every now and again.

Ok, it's my time to confess...forgive me for I have sinned.....

I also buy frozen pastry for my pies.
I make gravy using the vegetarian instant stuff as we all like it.
I use my TD at least once a day.
    and and and...

actually that's not bad as I also do lots of OS things. Quite a few of my friends wouldn't have a clue about OS, even if they were smacked in the face with a wet microfibre cloth! :rotfl:
    I'm sure there are a few more but I reckon I'm 83.7% OS! :j

I was in that position a few years ago and the only option [apart from me cleaning up after them every time I wanted to use the kitchen/bathroom] was a cleaner - however they would not share the cost with me so I moved out (only other option!) Ironically when we rented the house the landlord said a cleaner could come once a fortnight and he would just add an extra few £ to the rent to cover this and I said no as I had never had a cleaner before and it felt a bit odd. If only I had known how bad my housemates would be then I would have said yes and avoided so many arguments!
