I buy oven chips
In my defence I always buy the cheapest lol! I just can't seem to make oven chips myself that the family like and we do not own a deep fat fryer...so I guess thats one good thing lol!

i have a bag in the freezer

I buy Tesco Value oven chips. Sometimes the kids want chips and no amount of persuasion will change that to HM potato wedges. I refuse to buy a deep fat frier so it's oven chips or nothing. No big deal tbh. I didn't know they were "naughty" either! I hate chips myself so no temptation for me.Val.0

What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

There's nowt wrong with oven chips!
I like the skinny, American style ones which are way too much of a faff to make from scratch even if I wanted to (which frankly I don't), so oven chips it is. I don't eat them often - once every couple of months, I guess, but of course I desperately want some for dinner now.
I'm not buying chips, I'm not buying chips, I'm not buying chips...Back after a very long break!0
