Here goes...
- I tumble dry my towels more often than hanging out (but they come out SO fluffy!!)
- I only like Birds Eye frozen peas (ever since an encounter with Asda own brand and a big green caterpillar)
- I buy instant mash out of pure laziness (but in my defence it's Tesco cheapy stuff, it's really nice)
- I buy pre grated cheese
- I buy cans of pop (6 for £1) for my hubby to take to work, as 1 can at work is 80p, then I end up drinking them at home0 -
My non OS weaknesses are
- using my dishwasher (in my defence I get dermatitis if I use washing up liquid and can't stand rubber gloves)
- Tumble drying clothes rather than using a washing line (as I work f/t this is a must to ensure we have clean clothes
- I do occasionally buy Thorntons chocolate rather than the supermarket own brand or cheaper sorts.

I don't buy basics anything
I use a dishwasher (but not a tumbledryer except very occasionally)
I buy my meat from a butcher even though it is dearer than the supermarket (although, personally, i think it is better value as it goes further)I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
I confess :
I buy frozen mash.
I only buy Birds Eye fish fingers and can easily eat a packet myself.
I buy cake mixes and pass them off as home-made.:o:o:o:o

Never use my chicken carcas to make stock, always tastes vile and you can get 24 chicken oxo from the £1 shop.

Not using up leftovers properly (getting better at this)

I use value/basic brands but wont compromise on my tea and coffee.
I love Flash cleaning spray (although I do use Stardrops as well)
I like to finish off the towels in the tumble dryer (after being hung on the line for a while)
I buy Andrex toilet rolls. I also buy decent kitchen roll (but not for the same purpose obviously!!!)
I always have a bag of emergency oven chips in the freezer
I love Lakeland stuff - even the things that you know are a waste of money. You can almost convince yourself that you need gadgets from Lakeland to be OS.0 -
There is lots of non-OS stuff I do, but the ones I feel guilty about are frozen mash, bags of frozen cauliflower cheese, yellow stickered instant meals, and occasionally getting a cleaner in for a spring clean (usually when in-laws are expected).
I comfort myself with the knowledge that I COULD make/do it all from scratch (and find pastry easy so never need to buy it) but work hard to be able to afford not to! If I was home more I would do more OS stuff, so I guess it balances out.Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0 -

But I'd never ever never ever ever, buy ready made mashed potato. Ugh!Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
