I suppose my guilty secrets are:

I always buy Andrex toilet roll
I like the occasional takeaway (about £11 for the two of us)
We have a second car - however it's redeeming feature is that it's so old it's classed as a historic vehicle and therefore tax free! And we don't use it that much.
I won't drink any tea other than Twinnings.

Terribly naughty of me, I know. :D

Yeah, but cheap shampoo takes the skin off your scalp! At least if you know it's pricy, you only squeeze out a bit and wait for it to be on offer. Value shampoo is squirted all over the place!

I don't buy shampoo anymore. I find that diluted apple cider vinegar works even better than shampoo does. A tablespoon diluted in 250ml of tap water has been brilliant for my hair (and there's a lot of it!) Cheap and cheerful:D

I am sure I've posted on this thread before :)

I have a diet coke habit - it's really bad, I go through litres of the stuff.
I buy coffee from Fortnum and Masons (although in my defence, I don't drink a lot of it so it doesn't work out too bad)
    I often buy pre-packed pastry

I hoard craft stuff generally, but my worst is... marimekko fabric. I have yards of it; I stalk it on ebay. I plan to turn it into things, but for the time being I will just get it out every and often and stroke it. I can't sew very well and I am afraid of destroying it! cel x

    Hi

Fresh coffee beans. I'll cut back on other stuff but not proper coffee.

I buy ready made meals occassionaly. Mainly M&S lasagne:-))
I buy ready made pizzas (I don't have big enough freezer to keep basis in and I am not making base every time)
No way you would get me to cut my own hair
I buy green thai curry ready made sauce (but only like once every 2 mths) and also sometimes Dragon chinese stir fry sauces (also once every 2 mths)
Sometimes I just want to go for meal to a good pub

Hmm.. but I don't feel guilty for a single one of these things (sometimes the chinese sauce), I rather feel proud about the things I do do to be old style - cooking from scratch, batch cooking (tho my freezer is small so only like 2-3 dinners at once), making bread, not owning a tumble dryer etc..

    Posh cosmetics and toiletries!
I've tried all the cheap makeup brands, ELF, MUA etc but they're no good! I try to stick to high street and offers, but occasionally succumb to the MAC counter...
And anyone worrying over £3 shampoo won't feel half as bad knowing I spend £25/150ml on elasticizer hair treatment  and I've been going to a salon for waxing lately rather than doing it at home even though I have loads of wax strips :o

Anything else, I can scrimp on(inc hair cuts/dye).

Oooh I have thought of an even worse one... I have been known to eat these (warning do not look if you are of a nervous disposition or prone to fainting).
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

:rotfl: Hannah_10.. yuck yuck :rotfl:... you should be suitably embarassed :rotfl:

I buy bread from the bakery.... it is so yummy though.
I buy Toni & Guy shampoo and conditioner £15 a bottle - BUT it is 750ml and lasts for months - so actually is cheaper (:D)
I buy ready made pastry - can't make it I tried - tasted like pastry but was like cardboard
I buy Bodyshop shower gel - not really expensive but not cheap.
    I buy Clinique facial stuff
I buy Chanel make up - lasts much much longer than the cheaper stuff
I buy oven chips sometimes and fish fingers
I buy biscuits, cakes and crisps - I do occasionally make my own biscuits and cakes.
I use the dishwasher at least once a day sometimes twice!

wow loads of non OS stuff there - perhaps I should rethink LOL.....but... I don't have a car or tumble dryer (she says desperately trying to re-join the gang)

I hear ya :) The Benefit counter is my weakness :o I always date the things I buy though, so I can make myself feel better about it - it does last for ages :rotfl::rotfl:

I hate fish, so the only fish we ever have in the house is in the finger form that secretes orange breadcrumbs to protect itself from it's natural predators... I also love potato waffles and I really like findus crispy pancakes :rotfl:
