I have oven chips and hash browns in the freezer. I buy the best oven chips for pennies at C0stc0. They are by far the best called Stealth Chips. Nothing beats a chip butty - I make them for my kids sometimes and they love them!I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Dring dring, "Is that Social Services?, I must report some DREADFUL parenting"!
Seriously, I never buy oven chips because my children do not like them, however I do not have a problem with people that do!
There are worse things you can do........

I am now going to trump the lot of you....I am going to venture into Waitrose for this weeks shop as I have been paid!!!!:D
I have my list, I will try not to deviate from it, I will try not to come out with two bags costing £50 and I will not give in to the very nice ready made salad things for my lunch.
I love hash browns!!!
I will be back for confession in an hour :A0 -
Sitting here eating a 'bought' pizza.:p
I always have chips in the freezer. I can never manage to get HM to taste as good, and you can't have bad chips with steak. That is the only time they ever get used though so 1 bag lasts about a year:DGC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -
Ok I confess too. My daughter has just posted on facebook that her favourite meal when she was young was potato smileys.
That was when I used to have Iceland deliver and they used to do deals that included a number of items. You had to have them all to get the deal price.0 -
OMG!!!! How expensive is that shop??! My confession - I gave in to the pepperoni. It was calling my name.0

I don't cook oven chips often but when I do I buy them ready made. I usually buy McCain's as they taste far better than any that I've made myself. I can make wedges, roasties, and real chips but I've never been successful with oven chips.
Garlic bread has to be homemade as nobody in the family enjoy the ready made one's we've tried.
