sorry ladies.. feeling like a rant too. :(
been reading that stupid book '50 shades of grey' and think with the hormones, i have been feeling quite frisky. lol. so been craving it (if thats the right word) as we had discussed earlier. :) so i have been sending hubby some messages and he said he agrees we need to make time for it. then his brother comes back tonight (and i thought he was going back to his parents). anyway then before he came back hubby did and i was feeling a bit emotional so it came out the wrong way and i asked hubby if he still fancies me and still wants me. so it turned into an argument. grrrr. he said he was tired and with me going on, he got mad. so i left it as he felt i moaned at him so we are now sitting in silence watching stupid wrestling. in my anger i had bad thoughts about bubba and i feel so bad. i got really upset too. :( sorry needed to let it out.

Big hugs Rups, how long is his brother staying for? If it's a while yet can you organise to maybe go out for a meal or a walk or something this weekend, just you and your hubby to have a bit of space and a chance to talk?

Thanks mintedby30. i will try but with DH being tired and grumpy, it doesnt work out. i will try. i thought the brother was going back so i did suggest a shower and a romantic meal at home. His brother is staying with us for a bit as he finds it easier to travel to his new job from croydon (to sussex). he will eventually find somewhere to buy but its until his parents move into their new place and they can give him back his money they borrowed. well he cant stay long as he is in the baby room-to-be. i kind of miss my space already.

just miss being intimate with DH but DH is being grumpy and annoyed at me because i am annoyed about not being intimate and being grumpy with him. grrrr thanks for listening. xx

Katyliz yes it's a secret group so you won't be able to search for it. There was one connected to the newborn thread, but it got quite back and they closed to new members so we've set up one. Mishka is the one you need to message for the link. I think she's the only one that can accept ppl?
Bezzy I got a second hand medela pump. A mini one, bargain. I don't know what is the negative stuff you've read. I was just on the look out for a medela at a good price. Like someone else said you can sterilise all the bits that are in contact with boob/milk. Also I hear hospitals have some you can use so must be safe to 'share' so to speak.
SexyM glad your GTT came back normal. Think you've been given good advice about iron already. I know Jedi is a pro. Would just say lots of fluids, fruit/veg/fibre and vitamin C increases absorption. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but some iron preparations shouldn't be taken with milk? And I think omeprazole/indigestion meds. Should say on the instructions, but I think you take omeprazole.

Not much exciting here to report. Put a couple of bits on our local Facebook selling site and sold them so few extra pounds. Listed some stuff on turbo lister for eBay. My mum said its free listing this weekend if anyone has any bits to get rid of. Thought I needed to do something productive this afternoon and I had a lot photographed etc already.

Well I'm shattered, no nap today so already in bed. Hope everyone has a good night. Wishing lots of labour vibes to the boldies :) xxx

Rups is there a reason you can't BD while your OH's brother is in the house? Just be quiet or make sure you put the tv on loud lol.

Maybe try something different, try giving him a massage or vice versa. Intimacy and being made to feel fancied and wanted doesn't have to be down to pure sex there are other things you can do. Maybe you could have a word with the BIL and ask if he has any plans to go out anytime soon because as much as you don't mind having him stay you and OH want to have a few date nights or nights just the two of you while you still can before the baby comes because then you won't be able to have as many dvd nights or go for dinner and a movie etc.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

thanks ikkle. i can do all that but its DH. right now he is so shattered. lol. i think i might have to plan something and timetable it as weird as it sounds. i am more laid back but DH is so super organised. he has a diary and everything. i just need to find a way for him to relax and then we can go somewhere. when he is grumpy and annoyed at me for moaning, i cant do anything. so i have to now wait for him to be calm and then plan. hehehe thanks hon. xxx

  • KatyLiz Ah, that's a shame if the cotbed will look out of place with the white furniture! We fell in love with it when we saw it and with everything that you get in the package we thought it was a good deal. I had seen a few other cotbeds but OH had his heart set on this one!

Sexymouse Spinach is a great food for increasing iron levels - I often make salads with spinach instead of lettuce. I am veggie too, so won't be eating meat but my bloods have been ok so don't need iron tablets. If you have spinach salad, make sure you put red pepper in it as the combo of pepper and spinach increases the iron absorption. Another food you could try is a cereal called Grape Flakes; I absolutely love it ad I think it contains about 45% of your recommended daily iron intake. Don't know if you have ever heard of Grape Nuts (my fav cereal - very yummy!) but they are from the same manufacturers. Very good on rest of ingredients too, lots of cereals have sugar as their first or second main ingredient and this always puts me off. I used to think bran flakes were good until I realised how much sugar went into them! Anyway I digress, hope this helps!

Hugs and labour vibes to those in need!
