Lots of blues lately.
Rups that's disgraceful. You had a dream about a naked colleague...
And you didn't do anything!?
Disgraceful! :P0 -
Lol Rups, I don't think "naughty" dreams mean anything about that person. You might just have dreamt about your desire to have intimate times and you mixed in work for whatever other reason, maybe this person can help you with your current stress at work, and you mixed both needs. Or he is very helpful and willing-to-do person at work and in your dream he is somehow a metaphor of how you would like your husband to be with you with regards to tlc, etc. Dreaming occasionally about having intimate times with other people (or even exes) does not necessarily mean we actually want to do that, most of the times is something else. But it freaks you out when you wake up!!! Lol Rups, if he is scared of going near the baby, can you suggest other stuff instead? Like "giving each other a hand" or oral?
Rups, I do not know what you mean with "feeling bubbles", I do not think I have ever felt that. I usually feel bones and bits moving and sticking out, sometime hiccups, which I identify because they are constant and rhythmical for about a minute or two, is that what you meant? I guess each of us might feel our babies differently, depending of our own body and the baby's routine, I do not know.
I received part of my order from Debenhams and Barratts. The maternity bras are good for me, they do give me support. I ordered a 38C, I am currently in a 36C in sport bra. The band might be a bit tight but it is supposed that once baby moves down, it will decrease, so it will be just right, it has four hooks, so no problem there. The cup covers well, it has no padding or wire, yet it stays in place, not like the Mothercare ones I tried, which did not give me any support and gave me shaggy boobs. I like the fact that it covers most of the breast when unclipped, it just leaves the nipple area out, so it is very discreet. Original price was £25 for 2, reduced now with the sale and the discount at £18 for 2. I think they will be fine for now, I felt comfy in them once I adjusted the straps and everything, I can also put my hand in, so there is room to stretch. I will wait and see how they perform once I give birth and if I can breastfeed or not. If not, well, I won't have spent much money! I am happy with that purchase. There were other two at similar price that I liked, one with polka dot spots and one white with a bit of lace, but they did not have my size. I will keep an eye.
I am even happier with the t-shirt/long sleeve nightie. I would highly recommend it for the price. It has 4 buttons that can be opened from the cleavage right down the ribcage and the whole breast is easily accessible. It costs £12, £10.80 with the online code. It is 100% cotton.
I have not had luck with the wellies, though, but I do not know what to do, if return them or not. I ordered a size up to allow for room, which is good for the feet but they are tight at the very top of them, so I cannot put trousers in, my calves are quite big, I should have bought a wide fit I guess. The thing is that I do not know if once I lose the pregnancy weight and general swollen bits, I would be able to fit in those or if it would still be very unlikely. I guess I could put them on with leggings (maybe), but definitely not anything thicker than that...Argh... I think I will have to go into the city centre and return them. What's the point of having wellies if you cannot wear them with thick clothing?!

13/12/2012, baby girl!!!0 -
Afternoon all. Update from me. Had my presentation scan today and baby is head down :j:j was so thrilled, so I can carry on and plan my home birth
also estimated about 7.7lb. Not fussed as I know how inaccurate they can be. She said bump has loads of hair - tell me and my constant companion of rennie about it I thought
I then went to mr s and bought some Christmas cards and presents and treated my self to a piece of coffee cake to celebrate
Back home now for a rest and then hopefully wrap some pressies later. Hope you all having a good day. Labour vibes to all that need them0 -
good stuff jonno!
On the large baby side, no point bothering about it and the scans often seem wrong. I'm looking hugeI also read this morning that a big baby can sometimes be easier to give birth to as it presses down on the cervix more which opens it up better and also stimulates the production of more oxytocin and so on...

Hello
Quick question - I have an appointment with a midwife in a couple of weeks and I'll be 25 weeks when I go.
How do they measure your bump? Are you lying down or sitting up? Because lying down I don't have much of a bump.
ThanksNewly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
marta sorry was meant to include this in my post too. my head is so not with it. the stuff you got above is so nice. i got my t-shirt nighties from primark but i need bras so might do debenhams jobby as cant be asked to go and get measured in london again.
those bubbles are so weird, in my belly. they are more towards the bottom of the belly right near my woman bit and feels like the baby is blowing bubbles. lol. could be hiccups, i am not sure, but feels like when you cook popcorn and that sort of sensation. i guess everyones baby is different. i dont see things poking out but feel movements in belly. like a little snake moving lol
