Evening ladies

Welcome to abbybryan and Saffagal, I've added you to the list. Let me know if I've made any mistakes, it's hard to read back and edit on my phone . Nice to see some new ladies joining, it's been awfully quiet here lately!

Went to NCT postnatal (hah! I wish!) support group this afternoon, got some lovely cuddles with the first baby in the group, can't believe she's already 3 weeks old!

Been feeling a bit weird since last night, bump seems to have dropped, and I feel like someone's kicked me in the lady bits :eek: really sore and stiff, hoping it's the baby engaging!

Might not get on tomorrow til the afternoon, got sister no4 coming over with niece for swimming and lunch hope everyone has a good night's sleep and a good day tomorrow xx

Yeah, been bombarded all day, including morning and evening texts from my best friend, when I replied that there was no movement yet and I'd let her know as soon as baby arrives, she replied "great, I'll text tomorrow " - want to tell her to leave me alone, but I know she's just excited and I'm being grumpy! Am considering posting something on fb to the effect of "Dear family and friends, rest assured that we'll let you know when baby arrives. In the meantime, !!!!!! off! ":rotfl::rotfl:

I was due today as well Little Moog and mirror your symptoms including txts.

I went to Toys R Us and bought my nearly two year old her own baby and carry cot (so she has one to look after as well) and posted a pic of her with it on fb announcing the latest addition to the family - caught a few out with that one!!

In the last week I told Moon that I wasn't going to answer the home phone at all and that if anyone wanted me urgently they could leave me a message or call my mobile that way I could screen calls. I was overdue by 3 days when I finally had Jonathan but the last two weeks I was extremely fed up!

Aida yep... been leaking for a long time. Nothing much most of the time, just a little damp if I lean on a boob. Some days it's more of a full on leak that would probs reach my toes if I let it! (That sounds disgusting but... it's true so :P)

Rups mine started watery, had a squash out of curiosity and out came this "double cream" stuff. Edit: just to clarify... I'm talking about leaking and not plugs!

Half tempted to get back in the car for a drive. It's the only time since around 3 that the baby hasn't been moving and causing me pain >< I'm tight as a drum yet it insists on trying to poke holes

Just a quick question. I have a second employer, with whom I won't be receiving SMP. If I continue working for him, will it affect my SMP from my main employer? I'm a respite carer and usually look after a teen for a weekend a month. Although Lee has a CRB too, I'm registered as the carer so would have to get details changed to get Lee registered.

Not sure about being classed as a carer though.

Edit: realised you said you won't get smp but... still says somewhere in there that you can't get paid from a second job and claim smp.
