SMP and two jobs???

Hi
not preggers yet!! but planonbeing son just trying to sort finances out to see howit works
At the moment I have a full time job 36 hrs and part time job 16 hrs I pay NI and Tax in both nowam I ableto claim SMP from both ,, I didnt think I would be able to but someone told me as I pay National Insurance in both I should be ableto get it in both ......
can anyone throw any light on this for me

Yes- you can qualify for SMP from both employers.
However, your GP/midwife will only be able to supply one Maternity Certificate form MatB1, so you'll need to show it to both employer's. Both need to see it, and one employer will need to photocopy it, whilst the other will keep the original.0 -
