Thanks for all the reassurance about my weight gain everyone

Today I got up early to go and get some maternity clothes. Been making do for as long as possible but it's getting ridiculous now! There is only so long a mothercare bump band will do me for. Managed to get a lovely navy, silky dress with birds on it that'll go nicely over my navy leggings. It was marked up as £21 but went through the til at £10 so was chuffed! Also got a pair of jeans with the over the bump panel bit.

Also popped into Lush and got myself a Christmas Eve bubble bar as a special treat which I'm looking forward to using.

Gosh Bamama just reading about your night out makes me feel tired! Sounds very fun! I miss the old days when I could stay awake after 9pm :rotfl:

Had a fab afternoon, got dragged to a designer sale by my MIL- didn't want to go but glad I did as got a gorgeous cashmere waterfall cardi for a tenner! Very happy bunny.

The energy comes and goes. Gotta make the most of it that's a gorgeous dress btw. I'm making do with what I've got now. My wardrobe pretty much consists of 2 pairs of jeans and a handful of tops lol.

Had a bath and a snooze and feeling much better, although I'm getting a lot of Braxtons and weird cramps etc so maybe things will kick off later *deluded optimism* :rotfl:

Babycentre pregnancy tracker app suggested I make some cookies and helpfully provided a recipe which I had all the ingredients for, so got those baking in the oven Would have been rude not to :rotfl:

Hello,

Hope you all have a nice weekend. I had a really nice day out with my hubby. We went shopping and had lunch and now we are going to see some friends.

I bought some stuff for the little one and a dressing gown for the hospital. I need to start washing all the baby clothes plus my stuff for the hospital. I can't believe that I might have a baby next month :j:j:j. Hope my little one won't be late!

Re sleeping: What bedding should I buy for sleeping? A gro bag or a cellular blanket?

Bedding-wise we're planning to use grobags, but baby has to be big enough that they can't slip down and cover their face before you can use them, so we also have some swaddling blankets (from an NCT sale) and some flat sheets and cellular blankets (also 2nd hand from a friend!) for early on. I figure flat sheets can always be used on pram mattress, and a spare blanket or 2 is always useful!

I'm ready for baby organisation-wise, everything's waiting. Whether I'm emotionally ready is another matter!
