    morning ladies :)

Good luck for today Moneypuddle, hope all goes smoothly for you :)

Sorry to hear of your loss Newcook, big hugs :(

We got back from FIL's wedding last night, I disappointed DH's grandma by not going into labour, I think she was hoping to be present for the birth of her first great-grandchild! She seems to think she'll be coming down as soon as the baby's arrived though. think we'll have to discuss with FIL when they're back from honeymoon, as we really don't want lots of visitors in the first week :o

My back was so sore on Saturday that I ended up going back to the B&B at 7, but then slept from 8.30pm - 8am with only brief wake ups for more drugs or to change position. Felt so much better on Sunday, it's a shame the wedding wasn't then :rotfl: Haven't taken any pills today, am just seeing how it goes as I have the day off work. I had a back problem last year and was expecting it to flare up at some point, but I've never had pain like I did on Friday night/Saturday morning, even when it was at it's worst. :( Hopefully I haven't got a new disc tear, and it's just irritated, will have to wait and see what it does now.

newcook, i am very sorry about your loss. Hugs

LM, i hope your back does not give you trouble.

Rups, i had a horrible night too, DD was throwing up and coughing a lot, DH was making horrible noises in his sleep, the poor thing is full of cold.

Mrs_B you and me are 24 weeks !... I have everything almost ready too, I am a very organized person and want it all ready soon. I have not ordered the cot cos i am moving next thursday but i will as soon as we are thre, also the mattress. The hospital bag will be ready soon too before i go on holidays on the 6th November to Portugal.
I have the travel system, nappies, clothes, dummies, bottles, breast pump, almost everything, only need some cot sheets and more clothes, so far i havent been going mad buying clothes, waiting to the Next sales in January.

My little Jade is so active, keep kicking me all the time, I get every day and look in the mirror... my shape has not changed, even my little DD looks at me every morning( we told her, her baby sister was coming when mummy's tummy is "this big") she is dissapointed every single day lol...

that is so cute morocha. i think little kids get so excited when they know they are having a sibling. :) so cute.

littlemoog, hope your back eases up. this weekend, my back was killing me but that was because i hardly rested.

morocha, i try and be as organised but this time, its hard. Mrs B your list and stuff is so impressive..

well in terms of my hospital bag and baby bag, my bags are done. i could add things like paracetamol and the distilled hazel witch which i havent bought yet but if i were to go into labour earlier, my bags would not let me down. my baby bag has 4 vests and 4 suits so the rest that is extra is packed, all washed and ironed. so i told dh in case he needs to bring it for me for any reason its there. got to wash a few more which were extras but can take my time now i guess. :) need nappy liners to take too which i need t obuy. i finally looked through all my mail properly and found that i have vouchers from boots etc so might well go get pampers and get that changing bag which i havent yet got. :)

i sooo cant be bothered to work! my little one is bit quiet today. kick me come on. lol

our baby room is looking a bit more human. lol. dh tidied up and we still have bags etc but its much better. phew. hopefully this coming weekend, he can start on the cot making etc. i have to go to my mums and stay the night. part of some tradition. she will come and pick me on saturay and then hubby will pick me on sunday. also apparently after birth, i am supposed to be staying with her for a few 'week's to be looked after. no way will dh allow that! he doesnt understand some indian traditions.

my mum would never stay with me. also part of this tradition of ours, that once daughters are married off, mums dont come to their houses for lots of visits let alons staying.. i wish she would but she def wont. that is what me and DH argue about all the time, because she complains we dont go and see her (this was before we had the car) and i said i cant as it takes me 1.5 hours by public transport and i get tired, and she doesnt get it as she doesnt use any sort of public transport for walk (5 min walk for her to work) and then he says never comes to visit us, so when i tell him the culture thing, he gets mad. i am stuck in the middle. so yest when my cousin was here, and i said that after birth the duaghter goes to mums house for weeks and he said straight out 'no'. he is such a stubborn. he def wouldnt have me going off with the baby for weeks.

Ohh it is a cultural thing, cant really say anything then But i do understand it can be difficult when your partner is from a different one.

My mother works in the hospital I'm *hopefully* going to. I'm sure she's opted to work all over Christmas so she'll be there when I go in lol!

She's not bloody coming in the delivery room though. Told OH it'll be embarressing enough having him and the midwives there... looking at my bits and all the other less than lady like parts of labour. Also hoping for a quick labour as he's mentioned that his mother will be coming down and will be sat outside. It's a half hour journey so I doubt v. much I'll get this baby out before she gets down lol :(
