I know what you mean, i became a British citizen 2 years ago , before that everytime we travelled to Spain, they would not linked me with my married surname even tho i had a marriage certificate and could show bank cards, credit cards etc... we go to Spain often as we have many friends there.Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0

Need to call the surgery on Monday when the nurse is back and ask her for the jabs. I've never had the flu jab, but I can remember having whooping cough when there was an epidemic in the early eighties, definitely want to protect baby from that.
just worked out I must be about fourth on the list now!!!I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

martafdz, I was lucky enough to be able to get dual citizenship (South African and UK) - all my UK things are now in my married name and my current South African passport is too. In South Africa everything else, including my bank accounts etc are in my maiden name still. As I kept my ID book in my maiden name I have that for proof of ID in SA. Not sure if you've any ID documents in Spain that would allow you to do the same?
When travelling, the important thing is to ensure that your tickets and hotel accommodation are booked in the name of your passport, whatever name that is! I usually carry a copy of my marriage certificate when travelling in SA as my bank cards there are all in my maiden name still however, I've never had any issues with the dual names.0 -

Really hope you manage to dodge this bug xxmoneypenny21 wrote: »Cake - We learned three types. (1) In for four, out for four - think this is for the in betweeen contractions (2) In for four, out for eight - think this is at the height of the contraction (3) Huff, puff, blow (2 short, 1 longer) - this is the panting to help you if the midwife says stop pushing or wants you to pant the head out. That was literally it. I was dizzy after the panting! :rotfl: - I say I think that was when you are supposed to use those breathing exercises because I can't remember and neither can my helpful backup of OH. I'm positive the midwife would tell you during labour what you needed, particularly the panting bit.
Yeh Im sure the midwife will instruct me. I watched OBEM last night, dont normally watch it but felt I needed to prepare myself :rotfl:. Couldnt believe the women in labour sat chatting so casually between contractions after having all the drugs!fluffnutter wrote: »I found I only needed one type of breathing.. suck iiiinnn on the gas and air, and blow out.

oh gosh we still have loads to learn about the panting breathing..eek! yest all we learnt in nct was about the perineal (sp?) massage, pelvic exercises, and labour in brief. scary how babys head turns and then the body. also showed us how squashed all our organs become and the size of our bladder becomes so small as it gets squashed. ouch.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!
