omg christmas!!! i better get on with that so i am not rushing around. better start making a list for people and get them just small presents as for us, bubba arrives around about that time,so the last thing i want to worry about is other people's presents.
its lucky that you and your dh are always doing it sarara.im jealous. need to feed my man some stuff to wake it up so he can sort me out! lol. what is thsi fear they have of hurting the bump, when i am saying its ok? lol

Thanks girls re nappies. I think il leave it now and just play by ear, was just hoping to stock up so we are not skinting ourselves even more when bubs is here!
Anything else you recommend stocking up on thats useful? I have lots of bubba wipes and johnston bath bits and pieces...i am too organised im a bit ocd and excited i think!
I think il start stocking up on loo rolls/dog food etc so it makes the food shop that bit easier!
Its weird re the movements, i definatly had a week of feeling so much all the time and now its really really reduced, i dont really have manic days and quiet days just lots of quiet days. Although hubby was playing around the other day with a torch on bump and talking up close to it and we did get some kicks etc but it had to be provoked!
Im not too worried as im not supposed to count until 28 weeks so will just keep a eye out. I just dont remember waiting to feel bubs move before, where as now im on edge waiting or thinking was that him/her.

Only thing almost guaranteed to get mine going is to sit on our sofa.

I think I just notice mine more when I'm sat down. She's on a wriggle most of the time (seriously, I think at any one point I could get 10 movements within 15 minutes), but I just don't notice it if I'm walking around or doing something. If I'm sitting down I feel her, particularly now she's a bit bigger (31+6).0

Speaking of OH's and getting it on...
Mine isn't scared of the bump, its just so uncomfortable I can't relax and O from it.... its only comfy doing it 'doggy' but I don't 'O' from that position so its easier if I just give him some good old oral and when he fancies a bit more we do it doggy lol and he apologises for not making me 'O' and I tell him it's fine...
I am also encouraging him to look after himself twice a week in our bed while I watch - weird I know but I like watching and he likes being watched now ... at first it was weird but it still feels intimate then as I join in quite a bit... and we have to get used to doing it with someone else in the room so its one way of getting over shyness lol
I sleep topless too so he has a fondle every night and as he is a B00Bs man he loves it!:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -
lol.. men abd b00bs.. mine get called bad boys. he needs to see them every evening. so weird lol. i would find it a bit wierd if he played when i watched but i am sure i could get used to it if he even tried!!!! tsk tsk!! all this talk is making me want to attack him but he is at kung fu tonight so when he is back, no chance, as he will be TIRED!!! lolBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Hi girls hope all is well with everyone, i no this question has been probably asked 100 times (apologies in advance) but how many nappies roughly did you stock up on?
I have 77 pampers
81 huggies and
27 sainsburys ALL size one.
And i have one pack of 33 size 2 and the parents bought me a huge pack of size 3.
Im wondering do i have more than enough size ones now and should i start stocking up on the size 2s? I no its hard to say with size etc but just a rough idea would be fabulous!
Thank you!
On another random note, bubbas movements for a week or two seemed to be going wild! He/She was having a whale of a time, now its much more quiet i feel him/her squirming about but hardly any kicks or as many movements. Wonder if my placenta has moved? Im trying not to panic or overdramatise it i feel the odd thing but no where near what i did previously...anyone else had this?
Sorry for the long post, i dont post hardly at all then i go on one!
P.S good luck and any labour vipes to those who need them!!!

I doubt your baby will get through 185 size 1 before he or she's outgrown them"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Thanks for all the due date wishes. Its nice to have got here!
Been to see the midwife today for my due date appointment. She didn't want to do a stretch and sweep as she said she didn't think I was ready, which was fine by me! I've made my appointment for next thursday for 41 weeks, but she says she hopes not to see me by then. If I make it to that appointment, they will then give me a date for induction which looks like it would be around Tues 16th October. That does feel like AGES away at the minute! Starting to feel a bit heavy and fed up but also still nervous about giving birth so not trying to hurry things along too much
Keep smiling

My DD was 8 lb 4 oz and would whinge as soon as her nappy was wet at all, so we used about 10-12 nappies a day for the first month. She stayed in size 1 for at least a month, so used over 300 size 1. They say up to 11 lb and my DD was exactly 11 lb at her 10 week weigh in.0
