    Forum is back! Yay!
Savage, thanks for that link, I will see if I can go and collect. I went today to the aquanatal in Altrincham, very good too but they do not have the coffee session afterwards with the midwife. Are you going tomorrow to the other one? I really recommend it, I will be coming back to this one next week.

The hospital found an urine infection in my sample, so I have been told to go to my GP and collect the prescription for antibiotics today :( anyone else had this?

I went shopping yesterday and bought a long thick cardigan, I can close it because it is stretchy wool but I do not think I will need to, very warm and will fit me also afterwards, I might not buy a coat, this and one of the bif scarfs I have should be ok underneath any open coat pre-pregnancy. I am fighting against the desire of buying stuff, I do not need it, I just want it! But it will only be until birth, which is early December, so I might not even use it a couple of times! Unless a find a cape coat in my pre-pregnancy size that fits and can wear afterwards, I might give it a miss.
By the way, my local TkMaxx had yesterday lots of baby sleeping bags for all ages at under £15, snowsuits at £12 or less. My local boots had a "buy one get second half price" offer on all baby clothes, at around £12 for packs of basic sleepsuits or pretty fancy ones, also nappies on offer, check the website. I have started to do Christmas shopping because I won't have the chance or money once baby is born.

haha Fluff, why did you buy 2 vacuums?!

I have never experienced this glow that people go on about either...sigh.
the I have felt like I ought to nest...but often that feeling has not developed into actually doing anything. Am being a little more proactive now, but think that's mostly due to starting to panic that baby really could be born at any time now. Having said that, my priorities for which order to do jobs in is totally skewed, I don't do what's most important first, just do whichever job takes my fancy

Am having a tummy ache again. Wish it was a sign of something happening, but to be honest I think it's just wind :o

Candycane, hope your sweep has helped to move things along for you. Sorry to see how your midwife was about the possible pre-e though - I can't believe that they would be so uncaring

Aw, bless your OH Marta, how sweet of him :T
The only maternity clothes I have bought is one pair of jeans. Other than that, I've been sticking with vest / t-shirt and open cardigan. Hopefully don't have too much longer to wait, so should be able to get away without a coat and just wear a big chunky jumper or something.

Normal one and a handheld. They cost about a billion pounds but they're lush. This is now my life - getting excited about vacuum cleaners :D

  • Forgot to say I've to have a scan on Tuesday as my bump is only measuring 34 and I'm 36+4. I'm not really worried as I measured smaller with DD too and she weighed 7lb 6oz when she was born and it was my water which was low.

ok i need to calm right down... i am quite hormonal as it is and i am sure you ladies can understand how that is!!!

people at work are so nosy and some are annoying me so so much!!!this woman who thinks she is SO funny keeps shouting and calling me PREGGERS really loudly and then she cackles. she came to my area a little while ago and shouted 'oih preggers, get facilities to turn on the air con as its boiling in here, and tell them you are pregnant'. I just ignored her. then this other sweet guy brought me some baby books which i thought i would put away later, and some other guy in my team came and started just helping himself to them and reading them! i know its petty but i am NOT seeing the funny side to things!

    Thanks, rant over.

Oh Rups, I do think you need to try to relax a bit. It doesn't sound like people are purposefully trying to upset you, they obviously just don't realise how their actions are affecting you  Try not to let it get to you x
