Aw, congratulations Toni!! Sorry you didn't get the kind of birth you'd hoped for, but glad to see it all turned out well in the end. Hope you get to go home soon.0

Congrats bikerlesschick and toni!!!!
I keep being outbid for the hypnobirthing book! I might just buy it on amazon and forget ebay!
I slept a lot today, I was shattered yesterday, as I went shopping after the aquanatal and walked for about 3h non stop. I bought some presents, I still have a few more to do, but DH's birthday is in November, which makes things difficult! I need to decide what I will give him when. I will have the same issue with the baby, being born in Devember and all that. Oh well, that all my worries are those!Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

Congrats bikeless and toni
Snowbean thats good about your sweep. I know what you mean about everything 'being a sign'. It gets a bit annoying doesn't it.
Well, I promised I wouldn't feel disappointed at going past due date and here I am only one day late and feeling gutted. I know that's totally unrealistic but I (not literally) hit a wall yesterday and just felt so ready to have my little boy for the first time. I hate the waiting and feeling so tired and grotty and don't even really want to go out that much because I walk slowly now and I'd just rather be home. Coupled with the fact I didn't fall asleep at all last night (until 9am this morning, but then my brother came round and 10am and woke me up!), it all just feels a bit miserable at the minute

Aw Moneypuddle, you sound so sad
Hope the little man takes the hint and gets a move on and makes an appearance. How's your mum getting on? Would she be able to be there now if you did have him soon? I can't believe you didn't sleep at all last night, you must be totally shattered. Do you think maybe you can't sleep 'cos you're thinking about things so much?

Yeah I think so! But in some ways a lot of my worries have gone. OH is back from his trip away, my mum can see well enough to function at the minute & and even drove a couple of days ago (thanks for asking xx) and even some of my childbirth fears have gone (I'm now thinking ' why on earth wouldn't I be able to do it - bring it on!!!), so I'm not sure whats keeping me awake all the time. It might just be the expectation of staying awake all the time! I really need to get out of the mindset of 'well I won't sleep anyway'. Tried it all - reading, hot baths, warm drinks, coming downstairs in the night, TV, less clothes, more clothes, wearing wet socks (that was weird!) - you name it I've tried it!!
How are you sleeping? Are you excited about due date tomorrow?!? x0 -
