Thank you LittleMoog!! I might just handwrite it as well.
Rups, I'd say most of the movement you're feeling at this stage would be kicks etc because of the size of the baby. The first time I felt a kick was when I lying down on the sofa after dinner. Both DH and I had both of my hands on the belly for ages (maybe an hour?) and nothing was happening until suddenly we both felt a kick.May be worth you trying? You don't really need to know if it's a roll, kick, etc. Just that there have been 10 movements in a 24hr period, but like Toni said, if we're busy we may not notice/baby may not move as our moving feels like rocking to them and sends them to sleep!:jBaby girl born 3rd October 2012:j0 -

She also said that, there's a chance that I might have had my baby by then so it may take a few weeks. If you hear anything different, could you give us a shout? Thanks
Will do. My cousin is a GP so will ask her what she thinks.
My DD (22 months) is such a little starvo today. My niece was looking after her while I was at work and when she points at something, she gives it to her. Today she has eaten a Weetabix, 2 bowls of Coco Pops (mine not hers, she doesn't usually get these), half a croissant, a yogurt, vegetable soup and mashed potato, another yogurt, a Kitkat (I don't give her chocolate), another yogurt, pasta and bolognese (and was shouting "more" at me) and will get some porridge before bed!
I don't know where she puts it! She's slim.
My bits have been aching all week. I hope this passes. 10 weeks left until this baby is here!

How many moses basket bedding did you get? I went to Mothercare today and found a moses that we like (below), which includes mattress and one bedding set. The lady there said that we needed to buy: 4-6 fitted sheets for the mattress so we can change it at least once a day, 2 flat sheets to cover child and one blanket to put on top. Is that right or are they trying to push sales?
Btw, I received an email saying that TRUs had mid season sale with half price items at the moment. Mamas & Papas has some simple bedding (monocolour) sets at 3 x 2.Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

As for the babies, I heard (in my half asleep state this morning) that the babies get their first jab whenever but it's only effective after they've had all their doses or something which is a few months later?

Thanks Rups, the funny thing is that when I measured the other day they told me 27cm at 28 weeks, so I guess it should look small?...Plus I have small boobs lol, and in comparison the bump might look also bigger!0

Once a day changing of sheets? I done mine every 3 days or so and kept a muslin at the top end of the mattress to catch any dribbles. Now his cot sheet only gets changed once a week. I may be a dirty mare thoughThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Marta, I've got 3 fitted sheets but only because I bought a pack which had three in it! I wouldn't worry about changing them daily either unless you had to, and if that's the case it's one on the bed and one in the wash surely (provided you can dry them too). I'm also not going to have a blanket / flat sheet as I'm going to try the sleeping bag / swaddle thing from the start.0

CL and bikelesschick. Am also interested if either of you find anything out. I'm not seeing the midwife for another couple of weeks but am only 23 weeks now so have some time. Having seen the news just now and hearing a newborn struggle to breathe I think I would have it if offered. Will be keeping an eye and will post if I hear anything for here as well. I'm assuming it's for NI as well. Last time for the swine flu it was all across the UK. Reports are wording it as UK wide this time too but we'll see!
Marta - I have 4 fitted sheets, 2 flat sheets and 2 cellular blankets for the crib. Simply because they came in a set of 2 fitted, 1 flat and 1 cellular so had got 2 sets. Went Witt the theory that baby was more likely to dirty the fitted sheet than the others. Would have got 3 if buying singly - one on the crib, one in the wash and one in the cupboard. 6 seems a bit excessive but I suppose it depends how often your washing machine is on!0 -
more confusing stuff.. so we need the sheets etc def but instead of a blanket, are we supposed to use a baby sleeping bag? aghh too much to think of to get.
i have to check what we have in our basket then as i am not sure....cant open it yet till the room is sorted as there is a mess everywhere still.
made some chicken curry and rice. i had so much earlier. lolBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

You need fitted sheets Rups, then you can either use sheet/blanket on top or a baby sleeping bag.0
