I'm a little confused now about being in the third trimester...some websites say I'm in my third trimester some don't...
Looking forward to the next week as then I'll be 100% sure in my third trimester. My little one will need to stay in my tummy for another 12 weeks, if possible.:smileyheaBaby Aida is here :j:j:jBaby fund - £3140/£60000 -
Yes, I had the same Aida, a book I have at home says tge 3rd T starts at 28 weeks, but then an app I have in the phone says 27 weeks, and a second one also 28!! They could just agree!! Lol
We decided the names before getting pregnant!! Lol The thing is that I keep calling her "the baby" instead of using her name, DH pointed it out to me today, but I feel odd calling her by name before she is here, even though we are sure about the name. It feels very weird to me when family uses the name to refer to her, I rather they wait. Has anyone got the same problem?
After replying to my parents and saying that they could not be here for the birth because I could not predict when that would happen, they seem to have understood that the 5 day window they gave me was not reasonable, plus I might not be in the mood afterwards to have anyone at home inmediately after the birth, specially when I am the only one who can communicate with them. They have agreed to come weeks }after, which I very much appreciate. Instead, they have sent us some money to buy stuff, and we are thinking of buying the Stokke baby carrier, which was too expensive to buy, but since it will be a gift, it is not a problem now. Has anyone tried it? I had th e ergocarrier in mind, but DH saw this one and said he likes it best (ie. he would wear it because it looks masculine and sturdy), plus I wanted one with knee support as opposed to crotch support, I will be using the carrier a lot and proven or not, I would rather have one that allows the knees-higher-than-bum position just in case the concerns about hip dysplaxia are right. Better safe than sorry. And apparently this one is also comfy to wear up to 33lb, so it will get used a lot.Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

Wow, it was quiet on here last night!
Glad the MW appointment went well bikeless. It might be worth rearranging your appointment just in case you need booking for the induction. But I guess that depends on whether you would agree to the induction or not anyway.
That's good that your parents have seen sense in coming later marta. It'll be interesting to see what people think about the Stokke carriers. I have no experience with them, but I would like a carrier for when we go on our trips to Yorkshire and do lots of hill walking. In the past I've had the Baby Bjorn carriers and they left me with severe backache so I can't use one of those again.
I'm ready to go with nearly 2 hours until I need to leave. I really can't occupy my mind this morning! I'll get the kids up soon so DH can take them to breakfast club at 7.30am, and then we'll be off soon after. I'm making us get there half hour early as parking is terrible and we need a space.
Thanks for the good luck messages. I won't be online again until afterwards as my old brick phone has no internet capability. Good luck to MummyofTwo and anyone else who goes into labour before I have chance to get back on.Cross Stitch Cafe member no.800 -

No work for me today so having a bit of a lie in before I get up and tackle the housework (boo!). Have got some fun baking to do as well though, so not all bad
Just heard a piece on the today programme on radio4 - from Monday they're offering a whooping cough booster to all pregnant women as there's been an outbreak and it's very dangerous for babies. I've got the mw on Tuesday so will try to find out how to get it then.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Littlemoog - I came on to post the same thing, the jab is only in England though and for those who are 28-38 weeks pregnant, there was no mention of Scotland, Ireland or Wales though. I'm going to ask my mw on Tuesday too.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0
