Had my sweep this morning and it was fine, not too painful at all. Unfortunately she couldn't do much as my cervix was only very slightly softened, so it isn't going to work. I didn't expect it to though, so I wasn't too disappointed. Not long until Friday now anyway!

Sort of excited, sort of terrified! All those suppressed memories of the pain of labour are flooding back now lol. She was a pain all weekend for hardly moving and it's so stressful worrying about the movements all the time that having her here would be a relief.

Any progress for you ikkle? I still think he'll be here before my little one.

littlemoog, glad you had a good time even though you got wet. how horrid is it today too? i had to go and get my pregna care from boots and some lunch otherwise would have stayed indoors!

snowbean i turned the heating on yestaerday too and i am sure tonight too.

there are so many types of pregnacares. gosh. i got one with the fish tablet so have to take that as today i havent. i am sure as long as it has folic acid and vit d it is ok.

also another question please? When you book your nct classes, do you even get a reminder from them when your session is about to start? i booked ages ago and i cant remember when in oct we start. have had nothing from them so far.

Nothing, I didn't sleep Saturday night as was in pain with my tummy and back but it was constant so doubt that was anything really. I've been sat telling him it's Mia's birthday today (my cousin) and she really wants a new cousin as a birthday present so can he hurry up please.

My OH is taking my auntie and cousins to Manchester airport on Friday morning so it would be sod's law that my waters go whilst he's on his way there lol or, because I'm so desperate for my auntie to meet baby before they go back to Australia I will probably start labouring just after they've taken off.

Either way no more than 23 days to go lol....

That's a pity. Does your hospital do any antenatal classes? I'm booked into two sessions with mine as well as the NCT classes, one is an all in one session all morning, the other is just a breastfeeding one (and only for women). Not gone yet so can't comment on usefulness

LittleMoog you should be able to get a booklet from midwife/health visitor that helps with the breastfeeding hun and different holds x

Our NCT course leader rang us the week before, and also emailed us - it's up to them how they organise each course I think. I'd copied all the dates into my diary at the time when I booked it, but if you follow the email link they sent when you registered you should still be able to see all the course dates etc, as I checked one a week before the class started.

I got emailed by the course leader too, but freaked out before then that I'd not heard anything and emailed them to check as well...

ok will try and find that email.,oops.. i wish i had written the dates down. what am i like? i know they are on Thursday evenings but i dont want to miss it esp having paid for them!!!

littlemoog we also have the free NHS class coming up in november and they said they will cover bf. so maybe try and ask your mw or check with hospital? also once when me and dh attended the pregnancy fair (maybe you have one there too?) there was info and leaflets, so see if you can get to one.
