Lemonade and vimto have made it into my top foods/drinks that I've craved, but today I'm feeling really sick - woke up feeling sick, so not really interested in any food at all. Sitting here thinking I hope the decorator isn't here all day, as it won't be pleasant if I'm actually sick whilst he's here (the bedroom is not far away from the bathroom). Sorry for TMI, but I also need a poo, and I'm hoping he's going to have a nice long lunch break in his van in a minute so I can go. lol
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

  • thanks for the advice ladies - rang midwife who suggested i have a full checkup at hosp rather than my usual one with her at GP surgery. went up and saw a lovely MW who said i have got leukocytes in urine so shes sent that off, thought i looked a bit 'delicate' downstairs but couldnt see evidence of thrush so shes done a swab and sent that off too. had a trace done and my little fella is fine so i feel a lot better now. trace showed some moderate contractions so she said i may go into natural labour before the results are back, but at least we have covered all bases.

    hmm cravings...

so far i want to have samosas, and sweet and sour chicken (only had it once while being pregnant).

like lucozade and sometimes cake (esp sponges), and enjoy fruit everyday. initially i wanted chips all the time. am off pizza big time and veggies (i know they are good).

hate taste of water and smell of fish and thought of it and also hubby's sprays esp the foot one. yuck! off my perfumes too.:(

Rups, think it depends on what's in the Strepsil. Some have medication in them. Would other sucky-sweets help?

As for cravings, been through a cheap chocolate craving, also a salt and vinegar chip craving, the worst was a sudden 1 day long craving for a chip that was around when I was a kid and certainly isn't anymore (and even if it was they'd changed the formulation by then). Thankfully an acceptable substitue was discovered :)
