hello ladies. hope you have all been well.
have a lovely shower today cake. i am sure you will enjoy it.
regarding the jab, i had one in nov or dec last year but by then i didnt know i was pregnant and then in january i lost the little one. i am not saying that is related. i am just thinking i am ok without it for now.
woke up with a sore throat today so hope i am not coming up with a cold. have a slight headache too. :-(
on the plus side, we were up early-ish and we went and BOUGHT our car!! woo hoo!!! we got a good deal for a brand new Hyundai for around 6750. DH is pleased with it and so am i. i did express my concerns about me driving anew car esp just having passed but he is aware and oh well. lol. its a nice red one and has the basic things we need. so pleased..:)
then we went and paid for our carpet so we should be arranging for someone to come and do it soon.yay! am so pleased..
then we went to mothercare and i dragged dh there. by this time he was shattered as he was driving around. poor thing. we saw a few cots and i want to order another one on offer so must do it soon and then i looked at the steriliser starter sets and got confused. i thought i saw one ages ago and it was reduced to 69 or something but today i saw one with bottles and a brush and it was 30 pounds??? was wondering whether that was the one i saw originally as the original price of the starter one was 100 (and something?). confused. we are just knackered now. sitting on sofa and dh is sleeping opposite me. lolBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

I've had a nice day at the park with my parents and the kids. I'm absolutely shattered now and ready to collapse in a heap in front of the tv.
I've never had the flu jab, but as I'm due in 3 weeks it's unlikely I'd be offered it. I think it's really an individual choice as there are so many mixed messages about it.
Rups I'm pretty sure you can get a similar set with some bottles for 30 something quid, but it has less in it. Also the cheaper set usually contains the microwave steriliser rather than the electric. The one you've linked to is the one I've got.
Enjoy the baby shower Cake, sounds like lots of fun!
As was going to write more, but I just realised I'll miss Strictly if I do, so have a great evening everyoneCross Stitch Cafe member no.800 -

Evening ladies
We had our second NCT class today, was really useful and nice to get to know the others a bit betterhas reminded me to start writing down bits for my birth plan and what I need to buy for my hospital bag etc eek!
Re: the flu jab, I'm definitely having it, I've only had proper flu twice and it was totally debilitating. there's no way I could look after a baby if I caught it again this winter.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Like LittleMoog, I'll be having the flu jab if I am offered it. I had flu when DS was 1 and he had to go and stay with his grandparents as I was too ill to look after him :-( It was awful and I can't imagine being like that and having a newborn to look after.
This is the steriliser we have Rups http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3768758/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CNursery%7C14417537/c_2/2%7C14417537%7CFeeding+and+bathing%7C14417596/c_3/3%7Ccat_14417596%7CBaby+feeding+products%7C14417597/Trail/searchtext%3ESTERILISING+FROM+TOMMEE+TIPPEE.htm and it was fine. This is the question......
Disposable or washable nappies?
Neighbor has bags of stinking nappies rotting in the sun.

Neither of them are better, both have their pro's and con's.You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
