Can I just ask a quick question please? Have any of you experienced Braxton Hicks and how do you know what they are?
Having a nervous day, stomach feels really hard for 30 seconds or so and then goes back to normal. Got myself worked up thinking Im only 22 weeks, I cant be having contractions yet! They arent painful just a strange feeling.:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -
Cake4brains, I had them from 16 weeks with the boys and it is when your tummy feels hard (like you have described) they are uncomfortable but not painful. They should ease if you change positions where as actual contractions won't.
If you are at all worried do call someone.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Rups, from what Ive read they can happen from the 2nd trimester onwards and they are like practice contractions to get your uterus ready. I think anyway!:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0

AMC - sounds like your same as me lol. Yesterday got really fed up that bubba wasnt here and no signs of him wanting to come!!
We've also bought the Angelcare baby monitor but also bought a seperate thermometer as our house can get cold in the winter and its good to be able to know what temp is in different rooms. We bought the Avent one from Amazon when it was on for £10.99 instead of £16.99.
Really annoying, just come back from the shops and found a really fab post baby weightloss / exercise book and cannot find it online! grrr should have written down the details... silly moo!! Also caved in on the Next sale and bought bubba a swimming outfit - a cute green dinosaur one and a waterproof jacket £12.50 for the two so very pleased and in good sizes too!
39 week midwife appoint tomorrow morning. Hoping bubba has moved further down! was 3 / 5 two weeks ago. Hoping for 4/5.2025 financial goals & challenges!
