Buggering Sunday's. I'm having an early epidural and was hoping to still be able to eat a few bits and pieces. Nothing much just the odd mint etc x

Hmm, that's interesting. I wonder if I'm just an oddity then lol! I literally had a MW making me toast and trying to get me to eat although I was refusing. When I wouldn't eat that DH was sent for cake/sweets to try and tempt me. I just always assumed it must be the norm. I'll definitely be checking as that's quite worrying if I was encouraged to do something dangerous !!

I'm gutted too. I refuse to use opioids so figure I'll probably end up with an epidural. :( I want to be able to eat if I want to. Flippin' eck...these babies are nothing but hassle aren't they! :rotfl:

The annoying thing is if I'm not allowed I know I'll want something. When I was allowed I wasn't hungry, so no doubt I'll be ravenous this time!

I don't think it's dangerous more that they prefer you not to eat, if you really wanted to I doubt they'd stop you. As I said, I got haribo and fizzy orange because of ketones, so they were obviously more worried about that than me eating x
