In all fairness my friends baby was quite big at birth anyway and she feeds him lots. I'm not in a rush for a 2nd yet lol xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Congrats RJH! 10lbs, 10oz! Wow! Can't wait to hear the birth story!
Ikkle your fur baby is beautiful, I want another kitten now! My cats are 10 and 8 years old - still adorable, cute and playful but nothing compares to a little kitten!
Speaking of kittens anyone know how Kitten is getting on?
Twinkle I feel exactly the same as you hun! Due in two weeks and midwife made my next appt but said that if I had popped it meant that she could have a coffee break at that time! I'm on annual leave at the mo as well - had three weeks to take so would like to et at least 1 week of that in before baby comes along!
Had midwife appt yesterday, LO is 3/5 engaged and in perfect position. Midwife said he could make an appearance any day now. I think he'll turn up next week, but I guess we'll wait and see.
OH and I are not really getting on again. Truth is, he has trust issues which we have spokena bout before but they keep raising their head. He has no reason not to trust me, but he is one of these people that overthinks things and then builds things up in his head. I know what that's like cos I used to be like that too, so in some ways I sympathise but in others I am rapidly losing patience. I am about to give birth to his baby and he is sat their going quiet on me cos he has things going round his head! It's been pretty upsetting for me for the last couple of weeks - even more so being pregnant! - but I am one of these people that sits and takes it all, until I get to a certain point and then I just snap. I have no way of knowing when that point is - it just comes along and then there is no going back! I really don't want it to get to that stage cos I do love my OH, but I really don't think he is being fair with the way he is behaving towards me. He's also invited his Dad and his wife round for dinner this Thursday even though when he asked about doing that last weekend I said not to just yet cos I didn't know how I was going to feel (some days are better than others at the mo). He;s also arranged for us to go out to dinner with his Mum and her boyfriend next Sunday; I really don't want to go out! Why doesn't he get how tiring it all is in the last few weeks and how uncomfortable it is to even just sit down? Sorry, this post went down a route that I wasn't going to go today, just goes to show whats on my mind I guess.
Off to Hinckley in a bit to get measured for nursing bras and then spend lots of money on them. Going to check out the charity shops for baby stuff (they had some brill disney stuff in before but I was under 12 weeks at the time so didn't dare buy anything).
Emsbet hope you are still lurking and all is well with you hun. x
Hugs to all, hipe you all have a fab day.0 -
Hugs MMM - I think it is very difficult for anyone to understand how uncomfortable the last few weeks of pregnancy are unless they've been through it - I feel guilty about a friend of mine coming over and us walking up the road to the park with her DD1 when she was heavily pregnant, as I now know how uncomfortable it is to feel the baby's head in your pelvis constantly. It must be even stranger for a man who can't relate to what period pains etc feel like when you describe sensations to them. Moon tries his best bless him, but I know that he can't really understand that. Hope you enjoy your shopping trip. I really need to get measured for nursing bras soon too (37 weeks on Sunday), but am hoping that the new JoJo Maman Bebe that is opening in our town will be open at the beginning of September (just know it's September they open at the moment) so I can be fitted there as the independent shop here is useless. You can always find out your size and then order the bras online to save some money too. Fingers crossed you find some good bargains in the charity shops to cheer you up.
Well I've just called the instructor, and aquanatal is definitely on this week, so it looks like I'll be doing my best whale impressions today at 12.Really looking forward to it, although it's not very MSE (£6.50).
Hugs for all who need or want them, and labour vibes where appropriate.

Ok Ladies I need your opinions.... We have bought a cotbed for my parents house for LO to stay in if he stays overnight or has a lie down if we are round. It is a Mamas and Papas one so the size needed is L:139 x W:69 cm (M&P call it a 400).
I have done some mattress research to find one as although I could buy the same one we have at home, it isn't getting the same use so not sure if it is worth splashing out on? These are what I have come up with that will be suitable size-wise:
The one we are using at home for the crib and cot bed is the M&P Deluxe Foam. I don’t think it needs to be the same, but foam rather than sprung will be better because then it’s not much different to the one at home so he should settle better?
· From M&P the one we will have at home (M&P Deluxe Foam 400) is £61.00
· However, Tesco do sell the same one for £59.93 on their website.
· M&P also do a Basic Foam 400 for £43.00 in store.
· Mothercare sell a Cosatto Comfi Kip (140x70) for £38.25
· Or they do a Safeseal Foam Core (140x70) for £42.99 in Mothercare too.
· Kiddicare sell a BabyWeavers ‘My Mattress’ foam (140x70) for £29.99
· Or Kiddicare sell a ‘Sleeptight’ Foam (140x70) for £36.99
· Finally … Tesco sell a Kidtech foam (139x69) for £23.99
I think if it is just at my mums for occasional use could we get away with the Tesco Kidtech foam (139x69) for £23.99 … what do you think?:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -
Morning ladies
Hope everyone had a good nights sleep. I was awake for about an hour again, not due to baby this time, but coughingSore throat this morning as well, so I think my reflux is coming back, as those were the main symptoms when it started. Will wait a couple of days and if no improvement (or no cold develops!) will go back to GP and see if they can give me something stronger than ranitidine. Been symptom free since I started the ranitidine at 9 weeks or so, so not doing too badly really.
Have a good day everyoneLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Depends on the baby to be honest - but my girl will sleep anywhere - she has day naps in a travel cot downstairs (I can't face running up and down 9 million times to put dummies back in) which she has no issues with (we put a couple of blankets under the sheet in it to make it softer) then sleeps upstairs in her cot fine, and sleeps in our bed even finer (taking up ALL of it), zonked out in a hotel bed and again managed to take up 99% of a kingsize bed herself. Key thing I find is I've got to GET her to go to sleep where she'll be sleeping - no moving her when she's nodded off as she'll sleep on my lap with one eye open to make sure I'm not trying to move her!Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0
