This is him:
He's 8 weeks old. I'm getting him this afternoon. My last cat Chaos was from the same person. She would be this little mans auntie. I haven't thought of a name for him yet but I'm so happy it's really cheered me up. I've missed having a cat and because the lady who we are getting him from has a 5 week old baby I know he will be ok with bubs too.You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I was looking on gumtree at baby stuff the other day and strayed into the pets area, so many lovely kitties
We're in rented and nowhere to put a catflap so we can't get a cat until we move again.
We are in rented but because I do all the work on the house instead of calling the Landlord cos I have issues with letting strange people in my private space so he lets me get away with murder lol. Last landlord was the same, he even commented when we moved out that the house was in better nick when we left than when we moved in lol xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

awww he's lovely
I love cats, when I was home on Sunday our daft cat kept draping herself over my bump, and burrowing into my side for cuddles :smileyhea Can't wait to get some of our own when we have a more suitable house.

I think our LL would let us have a cat, but we only have french doors at the back, and a UPVC front door (which opens right onto the road) so hard to fit a flap in.

Hi twinkle I have spoken to my son's diabetic nurse and consultent and they both say i dont need the GGT but midwife is still saying i have to, so i am dreading that.
Thanks for all the welcome messages everyone :-)
Having a bit of a lazy day today, struggling to pull myself together i have horrible heartburn and my dreaded morning sickness has returned after having 3 whole weeks sick free :-( xx
It is worth having as it can be dangerous for the baby if you have gestational diabetes and its not picked up and treated. I have had to have it with all 3 pregnancies, I was sick this time round from nerves but then afterwards I don't know why I was so scared.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -

We have a catflap at the back, but our furbaby has a habit of knocking on the front door if he's on that side of the house to save having to go round 2 houses and back gardens to go through his flap. Muggins here is the one that gets up to him in the middle of the night. When we lived in a flat (ground floor) he also had a catflap through the front door but used to like going out of our bedroom window and only used the catflap for coming in. lolEnjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
