Thanks for the links for the NCT. i found one which i might book for oct time but need to check with DH that he can make it too. think one is enough as we are also doing the HNS one. Thanks so much.

Gosh am struglling today. cant sleep anymore. got up 4 times yesterday to go for a wee!!

Im feeling very uncomfy and every twinge is making me anxious today as I have this feeling Im going to go into labour when DH is at work, with 2 6 year old and 1 year old by myself. It takes him hours to get home by bus too so I will be alone with the little ones ages before he can even get home to me then we need to drop them off somwhere and get to the hospital 22 miles away.

oh no emweaver. dont panic. is there someone nearby who can help out if that happens?

I've got the same worries emweaver, although I still have over 5 weeks before I'm due. I figure if things were to progress very quickly I would ask one of the neighbours to have the kids and call an ambulance for myself. I'd hate to do that and would be terrified of having baby without DH, but if I had no choice I'd have to. Maybe you could do the same? Chances are though that baby will come when your OH is home and everything will be fine, so don't stress too much

Rups you don't seem as panicky since your holiday. In fact you seem a lot calmer than me now lol! It's nice that you're enjoying your pregnancy a bit more now. I take it you didn't ever peek inside that envelope?

Dizsie, the NHS ones cover those - and Croydon have LOADS running, I've just booked onto mine. I don't think you have to be under Croydon Uni Hosp to do their course - do you want details of the dates and times and stuff? They hold classes at the hospital, and ones at the surestart centre in Woodlands.

I'm nervous about giving birth, but it's not constantly on my mind. I just don't feel quite ready yet. I have midwife at 2.30 and last time they found urine in my wee...doh! That was meant to say protein :rotfl: So I'm hoping BP is still down and that the protein has gone away. Bags are all sorted anyway.

I'm so tired today it's not even funny. Honestly I have no clue whats going on I'm that tired. I had a fairly decent nights sleep, but I did go and get my nursing bras yesterday. Think that might have tired me out. I just need a good sofa day watching tv and mooching. I'm so tired.

thanks katyliz. i was hoping i am calmer now. Think it was the scan and generally am speaking to myself (not like a mad woman) but calming myself down and speaking to the baby. i have my moments when i dont feel as many bubble movements/flutters and i panic slightly but then i think i am sure all is fine. nothing i can do otherwise right?

I will register for the NCT one in Oct but then DH pointed out that we have the free NHS booked for November so he wondered whether we should cancel the free one. i was saying we could do both no?

ooohh no i havent peeked yet. how good am i? i have even shocked myself. lol. my mum asked me on Saturday if i had looked and i said no, so she said give it to me. i know she will look! hehe. i might as well wait now and share that experience with him.:)
