I'm 38 weeks today. I currently have the feeling when I walk round that he's going to drop out...I'm assuming that means he's engaged. This only happened for the first time yesterday. It sparked the fear.

It's more the unknown for me. But then I guess ignorance is bliss. But yeah, I'm scared...just trying to not think about it. Every slight ache causes me to go "OMG...is this it??".

I mentioned this the other week, I'm only 34 weeks though (35 on Wed) I said it felt like a ball between my legs about to drop out, at the time we thought baby was still breech and so my nan was like no it's not baby etc, had my scan last week and baby is in deed head down with his head in my pelvis.

Everything scares me at the minute, every twinge, every ache, every feeling of wetness down below. Then when I don't have any of those I worry too lol. Pregnancy is stressful.

Hi all, I have been reading this thread all day and thought I would come and say a big hello my baby is due 30/01/2013 so I am 17 weeks+4 and already have a huge baby bump, this will be my 3rd and I am feeling a lot more anxious about this one for some reason, I have a midwife appointment on wedensday and will get to hear the babys heart beat for the first time so i am hoping that will put my mind at rest a bit then my next scan in a couple of weeks so we can find out what we will be having :).
I have seen there are a couple of other mums to be who are rhesus negative like me, I have heard things have changed since I had my daughter nearly 9 years ago and will I will only be needing one injection this time around instead of the two I needed then. I also have the joy of going for a GTT soon which I am not looking forward to one bit, my son has type 1 diabetes with no family history on either side and they are still insisting i have it done I was ill last time :(
Well i will shut up for now, Good Luck to everyone at the top of the list xxx :D

Morning ,

I just had my first bad night since I've found out I'm pregnant . I think I will fall asleep today at work :D.

My little one is kicking me like mad these days and I can see her kicking too:eek:. It's just amazing. She kicks me every morning, mid day, evening and night. She is so active these days and I love feeling her as I know she's safe.

Breast Cancer Survivor Congratulation for your little bundle of joy. I hope you'll have some free time to write your birth story. I just love reading them.

Ellionic Welcome.

Rups Welcome back. Hope you had a nice holiday. We are 23 weeks this week. One more week till V-Week :j. Nice to hear that you started feeling your little one. You're pulse feeling will turn into kicks and when I say kicks I'm referring to proper ones that can be seen from outside .

I've just finished reading What to Expect When Are You Expecting book. It was pretty good and now I've started reading Contented Little Baby Book. In theory the Contented Little Baby routine sounds really good and I can see myself trying to implement this method :D but I wonder how effective it is and whether the baby will be happy having a "strict" routine. I will need to research more about the CLB routine and other routines...

Any of the second/third/forth time around mummies had a routine with their little ones?

Bought lots of stuff for my little one and now I will need to start looking at bottles and bottles steriliser. Any advice? Should I go for Avent ones or Tommy Tippee. If I buy for example a Avent bottle steriliser can I sterilise other makes of bottles? How many bottles should I buy? Should I go for a kit? Sorry for asking so many question but I'm a little confused.

Also I didn't received any free bottle for Due Date club . Do I have to print a voucher or do they send my one via post?

Oh, and another question: should I buy some infant formula before I give birth just in case I can't brestfeed my baby? Don't want to leave my OH to do it if I can buy it before birth.

Hope you all have a lovely week.

Congrats BCS!

Can't believe I am now number 8 in the queue. Scary. Still having period pains, back ache and constant loo stops with an upset stomach so am hoping I'm not going to go overdue. It's weird I can now say baby is due next week. Just have to hold on til Saturday then it can come so it's the oldest in the school year!

Had a mini baby shower yesterday. Hardly anyone could make it but it was nice to have a catch up with my closest friends who got us some lovely gifts despite me telling them not to.

Hi Aida

I read Gina Ford Contented Little Baby and also Tracy Hogg Baby Whisperer before little one arrived. A combination of diffculties feeding and that general ' oh my god what am I doing' meant that I ignored them both; found it much too stressful. J is now 10 weeks old and we have fallen into our own routine nauturally, based on what suits him and us. We now have loose regular feeding times and a loose set bedtime (but of course he is still so young so these are likely to continue evolving). Everyone is different and every baby is different, I'm one of those people who need a bit of routine and structure but I'm happier doing it our way if you see what I mean, rather than attempting to follow someone else's and getting upset when it doesnt work out. Hope that helps :)
