yes, I booked NCT online. Here: http://www.nct.org.uk/courses then put in your due date and postcode, it does come up with other things too though not just the antenatals. Put in a fake croydon postcode and something near your due date and got this.
As for the sleeping on the back thing, I usually can't sleep on my back but lately am a lot more restless in my sleep and often wake up on my back so I wouldn't worry too much. I do feel more comfy on my left side but that's my usual sleeping spot anyway.

I'm 38 weeks today. I currently have the feeling when I walk round that he's going to drop out...I'm assuming that means he's engaged. This only happened for the first time yesterday. It sparked the fear.

It's more the unknown for me. But then I guess ignorance is bliss. But yeah, I'm scared...just trying to not think about it. Every slight ache causes me to go "OMG...is this it??".

I was 38 weeks yesterday and am the same with every twinge. I wish I did not know what to expect.

I did manage with just gas and air on my second and by the time I got to hospital I was 8cm so I don't know why Im so scared.

emweaver, if it helps I'm going with the theory that yes, it'll hurt, no, no use worrying about it.

Thankfully this is my first so no horrible past experiences for me though. Could you try thinking past the birth to when your lovely new arrival is here? Something like 'in only xx hours this will all be over' (when you're in labour) or now 'in 2 weeks I'll have a baby with me'?
