Haha can you imagine lol. My cousin is 8 days overdue now and my grandad said to her yesterday hurry up or danis baby will be here first, she didn't seem very impressed lol.

Ant has told bubs he can't come till after 1st Sept when his weeks holiday has ended lol.

Strangely two people messaged me tonight asking if I'd popped too.

Ok one last quick question, as I feel my eyes are really shutting.
Nursing bras - I've heard about 37-38 weeks you go to a shop like mother care and they measure you. So do you buy the size or do you buy a cup size u or what? I mean on day three when I wake up looking like Dolly Parton cos my milk comes in ill need a bigger size. My friend got some at an amazing price on eBay so thinking of ordering. She got a two pack I think for under a tenner but they came in a M &S lack marked for £26!
Right I do feel drained and sleep. Night night all xxx

Mothercare don't advise u buy bigger anymore which is just stupid. Yet aren't gonna it web your milk settles anyway but then they notgonna ft anyway. I bought one a couple
Of cup sizes bigger but with room to adjust on the back. I will get the rest when milk comes in. Cos I so big anyway I need to buy expensive ones and don't eat to waste my money.

I'm quite lucky that very little I do wakes my OH. He was snoring last night so I kept moving his jaw to shut him up and he didn't even know when i told him this morning lol. Most of the time I am up and down through the night or go to sleep a few hours after him anyway and then set my alarm for 4am to get him up for work.

I'd left all our windows open downstairs last night without realising so when we came down this morning it was chuffing freezing lol I had to put my coat on. Think thats the first time since getting pregnant I've ever felt cold.

I slept straight through whoop! From 1.30 ish to now. Tried not to get up but couldn't hold the wee in. Dd is still asleep too ver unusual!!! I'm quite tired. My hands are sore from swelling. Off on the great school shoe hunt with dd today. She has very wide feet and inserted to help help her balance and it's a nightmare getting any shoes for her never mind her first pair of school shoes but at least oh Is off so a bit of pressure taken off me!

RJH glad you had a better nights sleep; I did too (Yay!) only really woke up once for a wee at about 3am and decided to let the cat in. Managed to fall back to sleep pretty quickly though so don't feel too bad this am.

Moneypenny I know everyone has had diff experiences with the GTT; mine was fine, the drink was actually quite nice and I was a bit hungry but nothing I couldn't cope with. I do think it's an important test though, as if you do develop diabetes they have to be able to monitor and keep an eye on it to make sure that you are ok. Hopefully, it will be nowhere near as bad as you think!

Twinkle Hope you are ok now hun, that must have been a nasty shock for you both.

LMM Naughty! Overdoing things like that! I'm not lecturing, honest. I did a bit too much yesterday as we have just about finished downstairs now (just need to hang some curtains tonight and that's it!) so by the evening I was feeling a bit poo. Feel better today but really don't want to go to work. Def going to tell them this is my last week - I don't mind logging on from home next week and being on the phone but I'm not travelling in. I need to rest!

Who was it that said about swollen legs? I am hoping that is what has happened to me! I notice sometimes that they feel bigger and then on other days they are not so bad. I am usually a gym bunny so I have found being pregnant very hard as my usual routine has gone out of the window. Not trained for a while now, and my legs feel massive and uncomfortable! I'm hoping its water retention too!

Must, must, MUST pack my hospital bag tonight! Think I have everything ready to put in apart from a mini fan which I will try and track down tomorrow. Got midwife appt tom am so going to go to new poundland that has opened up just before and see what bargains I can find there!

Boy I'm stiff this morning lol think it'll be a lazy-ish day here. Did sleep though until OH got up bout 10 mins ago. Glad others got a better nights sleep too
RJH thanks for your reply re: bras. I might just buy a bigger one then see how it fits. My friend is on the bigger side so I think this seller does lots of different sizes. Good luck with the shoe shopping. Hope you find some. Is DD excited about starting school? Just think if your waters go in the shop shop you might get free shoes for life or a cleaning bill
MMM sounds like its all coming together there. Must be a relief. Be good if you could be at home next week. I'm sure your legs are water retention. Mine lower legs/cankles seem huge! My feet are size four so prob feel much fatter than normal. Try and keep your legs up as much as poss. They should go down overnight though. Get OH to give you a foot massage also I must pack my hospital bag. Got most stuff together in a pile now
Money puddle I would still chat to your midwife about the GTT. Hope you manage to snooze later hugs for the aches and pains.
Ikkle I have visions of your poor OH and you messing with his face lol.
