just a quick one RE: Pads

I have been told by two different MW within a wk that there was very little fluid and all baby in my small bump but I have been soaking all afternoon sorry TMI. I really dont know where it is all coming from and still is everytime i move, so ladies make sure you have some bed pads as well as plenty of mat pads even if its just to get you from home to the hospital x

The courgette cake was gorgeous, I had to leave the rest at my mums after supper there or I'd have eaten the rest myself. I'm now contemplating courgette muffins to take into work too.

Good luck ferrety! I can't believe September babies are already making an appearance!!

LMM - make sure you take care and rest up, sounds like you really did do a bit too much. Glad you are happy with your nursery now though :)

LadyM - glad you got your benefits sorted. I'm always craving Domino's, and I have it once every two/three weeks and make sure I get a pizza full of veg. Yum!

We realised we have loads of winged ants crawling in from an invisible hole under the living room window. I've stamped on about 30, but giving up for now. It's gross! I really dislike any form of bugs and crawlies so I'll be covering the place in ant powder tomorrow!

On the plus side it seems to be cooling down a tiny bit here, so I'm hoping for at least some sleep tonight.

Thanks for the feedback on GTT everyone, will arrange to WAH in the afternoon, and I can always let my boss know if I can't manage any work. was already planning to take my knitting and a snack for after the 3rd test. I have to fast from 10pm, so will be pretty hungry by then!

Got my GTT on Weds morning. Has anyone else had one? How did you feel after, shall I plan to work at home/take afternoon off?

I had two in their utter determination to nail some obesity related problem onto me - worst part honestly... sitting on the world's most uncomfortable chairs for hours! Second time I didn't feel well, nearly passed out and got to lie down for the duration.

I really don't want the GTT is there an alternative ? Can I have a simple blood test without the drink? I know if be silly to refuse it but I struggle enough with stomach problems starving and drinking a glucose drink will do me no good I'm certain.

You can refuse the test but dont think there is an alternative. x
