It's like a rubbish sleepers club here lol! Hope some of you manage some rest today.

Ikkle - Lol, you're right September doesn't sound as far away. Am I going mad or do I remember you saying you'll probably have to have baby early because of your medical conditions?

Yeah I've been told all along I wouldn't be allowed to carry full term, but nobody has really mentioned it to me they said it all depends on this last growth scan as to what happens and when. My midwife said she doesn't think I would go full term even if they let me because bubs is so low. Had a foot sticking out of my bikini line scar this morning was a bit weird lol.

What day have you got the scan? Are you hoping they'll give you an induction date or would you rather go as long as you can? I'm still getting feet in the ribs, so I know mine's not low down!

Scan is on Wednesday. I don't know what I want lol, just some decisive answers instead of being told it will be discussed at the next appointment for a change would be nice. I have to have stopped my medication the day before I labour or I can't have an epidural or spinal block which rules out a c-section so if they let me go natural although it could be a long labour there is a chance I might not have stopped my meds in time. Also one of my medical conditions means that it can be difficult for them to actually put an epidural in so I have an appointment with the anesthetist the week after to discuss what can be done and how.

So far my list of pain relief for labour consists of paracetemol and gas and air lol.

I've never had any of this rib kicking you all talk about. Everything has always been inline with my belly button or below.

Good luck for Wednesday ikkle. The risk of not being in labour long enough sounds quite scary, I guess there is a lot to weigh up for you and the docs both. Like you said though, it's always nice to know you'll get some answers, consultants can be useless for giving out definite decisions.

Ikkle - the whole thing feels very unsettling. I hope you get some solid answers on Weds.Good luck!
    Any news from Vic anyone?

Someone mentioned here that they were flying with easyjet in their 3rd trimester but I cant remember who. How did it go? Did they say anything? I might need to go away when I'm 33 wks :(

Sounds like there were a lot of bad sleepers last night, tonight is going to be another hot one here but looks like it will start to cool down throughout the week. OH is reconsidering his no room for a fan stance which would be lovely right now. My hand fan just isn't cutting it.

Kitten - hope you're feeling better today.

feeling better, still in pain but on the painkillers regularly which is later than last pregnancy so think I am doing well. Now on to worrying about swelling in legs/feet and hands :p I think it is just the heat and isn't enough that I am certain it is swollen just I can't remember my legs being that big. Hopefully it is water retention and will go when Mini_Cub arrives. Sure I will have something else to worry about tomorrow but then have a scan so can discuss it all with a mw who is nice rather than being fobbed off by the others.

Off to have a nice cold bath. Hope the heat isn't too bad for everyone.

    Hey everyone.

I didn't sleep well either. Needed the loo and had to wake DH up to help me (not for pregnancy reasons. The M.E means that I can't walk properly and I tend to injure myself!) then I couldn't get back to sleep properly!

Had my DLA award letter yesterday. I think I mentioned it here about asking for my award to be looked at again due to my mobility being alot worse with the M.E (again, not pregnancy related as it was like it before pregnancy :p). They needed more info from my GP so it took a while (12-ish weeks) but they've given me high-rate mobility and kept my care the same. Such a relief as I was worrying that they'd take everything off of me (even though my care needs are the same, I know that the government are trying to save money where they can!). The award is only until 17/07/2013 so we can't get a Motability car as you need a year remaining on your award but it means that we can put the backpayment I'll be getting towards a secondhand car so at least we won't have to car-share with MIL for much longer.lol.

Anyway, I just thought I'd update as I think I did mention it here and I was getting stressed about it all!
