Hugs Kitten, that sounds awful :( I hate it when dreams shake you up like that. I had one last week that my dad (who I don't see) turned up when I was giving birth, and I woke up shaking :o

Hugs kitten_pie - I've had some horrible dreams since being pregnant that felt so real!

Good luck with your appointment this arvo Cake.

Postie just been and my swimsuit (the green flowery one underneath the main pic) has arrived (only ordered yesterday lunchtime, but they posted by 1st class post). I tried it on, and it fits! :jIt's a bit tight, but it should be fine once I'm in the water, and I wouldn't want it loose as it's a strapless one with just a strap that goes around the neck from the front of the swimsuit, so wouldn't want it falling down when I'm exercising. Another bonus is that I don't look like a whale either. lol Just need to get defuzzed on Friday (fingers crossed it's not too painful as it's bikini line and full leg wax) and then I'm ready to launch. ;)

Oh, and forgot to say, dentist was very pleased with my teeth etc and said my gums look healthy too which is good as some pregnant ladies get problems with their gums. Don't have to see her for another year now.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I had one of those bandeau style cossies a few years ago, before I realised that I needed bra sized swimwear - I pushed off from the end of the pool a bit vigourously, and the water pushed the top down and my boobs popped out  The old chap swimming towards me in the lane nearly drowned in shock! :rotfl: Needless to say I got myself to bravissimo for a properly fitted cossie sharpish! :D

Mamas and Papas are delivering our travel system today (the Urbo if anyone's interested!)- I hope it comes before 11:30 when OH goes to work, otherwise we'll miss it. When we ordered it we arranged to collect in store and paid the deposit, but long story short MIL2B interfered and changed it to delivery without telling us!

11 working days left before mat leave! Literally counting down the hours, I'm 34 weeks now and struggling.

Can't believe I'm in the 20s on our list now, afraid I might be queue jumping too, baby is breech and midwife says if he doesn't turn in the next two weeks they'll attempt an ECV (I think that's what it's called) and if that doesn't work I'll be booked in for c-section at 38 weeks.

Milliebob - hope that your delivery came. We were waiting for Mothercare to deliver our travel system and bath set yesterday. I'm counting the hours down to when i go on mat leave, it's not the actual work but getting to and from work that i'm struggling with - tube, train and bus. I was breech on friday but he turned over the weekend and when i saw the consultant on monday, he was head down - fingers crossed for him turning

This thread moves so fast as i was posting and another page appeared.... Kitten Pie - pregnancy nightmares are horrific and especially with all you have been through. Keep telling yourself it was a dream and you can feel her. A good cry can help aswell. I thought recurrent miscarriages were heartbreaking, my heart really goes out to you, you are so very brave in my eyes

  • Hope you're feeling better Kittenpie, dreams always seem so real. I had a horrible one last night too, I dreamt I'd left my OH and got back with my ex, when I woke up it felt so real and then I remembered that my ex died a few years ago which brought it all back :(

I had horrendous toothache last night and was climbing the wall. Managed to get an emergency appointment this morning and the dentist removed a tooth  still a bit numb at the moment but hopefully the paracetemol will kick in before the pain starts.

    Labour vibes to you rjh

I hope you don't stop posting dizsie

Just read abck over last nights posts...Sorry for the upset I appeared to have caused yesterday, I did say in the post that it was meant in a nice way and I have been over on the <12 week thread offering support and advice the whole way through.

Just incase anybody notices that I have gone missing and worries that means there has been bad news or something, I don't think I will be posting on here much now though (but will probably keep reading for the handy tips) because I think that when written down, with no tone of voice, things can be taken out of context and I just don't want to say anything else to upset anybody.

We've all been there. I've upset scores of people on here, and sometimes not even intentionally ;)

Have a break if you feel the need; I always find stepping away from cyberspace for a day or so gets things back into perspective but don't stop posting. You're one of the good guys :)

  • Hi all!

Have read but my brain is on go slow today!
Kitten huge hugs, must seem extra real after your boys.
RJH happy due date!! I know you. Thoughts you wouldn't reach this far. Really hope it's not too much longer for you! Good luck with the baking too. If I was closer I'd volunteer my tasting services.
Dizsie don't stop posting! It's a problem with typing on here, email, texts etc that they can be misunderstood. We know you didn't mean anything nasty.
I luv freebies hope your ok, you seem to have today as EDD but you're now at the bottom of the list :(
Those having appts good luck to those having them, and glad those that had them this morning went well. Cakes that is super quick!
SM glad you enjoyed your tour, was also scared that I'd hear a lot of screamers, but was very quiet :)
Milliebob you might just beat me then! You're due 11 days after me! Saying that even at 36 weeks bubs is still moving all over the place. Last night seemed he was lying across so I'm interested to know where's he's at now!
Little Moog congrats on finishing the room.

AFM not much to report. My sister and two kids stayed last night. She's straightened and washed my hair for me :) was about to go to the post office but remember it shuts at one for half day on Wednesday and she had to rush off to work so that'll be tomorrows job. Might try and do some gentle tidying. Seems a whirlwind has torn through the house. First think it's time for lunch. Bubba is doing his Mexican wave dance so I think he agrees!

Anyone heard from Jedi or lady morticia? Not seen her for a while

Sending big labour vibes to those needing them and hugs to those having bad dreams, not sleeping, feeling carpy
