One of my miles went a bit odd in the sun. I'm
Sure it's fine just get checked after bubba
    Comes.

I haven't had any classes. Would have loved the breast feeding onE but again I have had no information. My own fault suppose I should have asked.

Does your plug always go before labour? I dot remember from
    My previous induction.

Just go exploring over next couple of weeks. Thins u won't be able to do when bubs is here. Have u done the whole
Cardiff tourist thing? I only did it a couple of moths ago as with dd in push chair was so difficult.

For those of you that have toddlers or kids that hold your hand I gr a toddler handle for the buggy yesterday in home bargains for 1.99. Rrp 9.99. Looks really good. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B004EPYQMA

rj if the recipe just called for baking powder, you'd probably be ok, but I'm guessing that it is a reaction between the lemon juice (acid) and the bicarbonate of soda (alkaline) that causes the batter to bubble and rise (a bit like those oxygenating reactions when you mix vinegar with bicarb to make volcanos at school), so it probably won't work without bicarb. Ooh look at me getting all scientific. lol
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

rjh - happy due date. My plug was still in before I was induced with my son.

Student_Mrs - We haven't got the rain here yet, but it's meant to be coming in the next hour. I nearly cheered when I saw the dark clouds, finally some relief from the heat! They only used to let you go 10 days over in Merthyr, must be different in different parts of Wales.

savage - glad the appointment went well. I haven't ever been given a MATB1 form, the MW said I don't need it as I'm a SAHM and it's only for those working. I'm now wondering if I should've had one.

dizsie - lots of us say the wrong things on forums without realising it. I'm really careful how I phrase things in real life, but somehow that doesn't translate when I'm typing. Don't feel you have to leave, I'm sure no one wanted that.

2b hope you are ok as well and will come and join as over here when you feels ready, I wouldn't want anyone to feel like they can't join.

Milliebob - hope the travel system arrives before he leaves. And good luck with getting baby turned.

anyone ever had a problem with bleeding moles?! I forgot to ask on Sat but I have quite a few moles but noticed one on my arm that had bled?! Dr Google has me believing I now have skin cancer but not sure if it was just the sun. And last night I had a nosebleed, what does that mean?
I've got a mole on my neck which occasionally catches on things and it has bled in the past and it's fine. I'm sure it's probably just one that is a bit more sensitive to sun/irritation because you are pregnant and you've managed to scratch it on something, but it's certainly worth getting it checked out (better safe than sorry with moles is always the rule even though they're usually fine).
As for the nosebleeds, I've not had a proper one but sometimes when blowing my nose there is a bit of blood. I'm sure I read somewhere that they are more common in pregnancy as there's more blood flowing about your system and probably your blood vessels are a bit softer etc in line with everything else loosening up.

Nosebleeds are very common in pregnancy as savage has already said student_mrs - I would get the mole checked out though just in case.

2b3ac, when the time is right I hope you feel comfortable joining this thread

AFM, I had a follow-up consultation at the hospital this morning after Fridays check-up and scan at the assessment unit. I was there literally 2 mins and the consultant said we just wanted to go through the scan results from Friday and all was ok. Yes, I know because they told me that on Friday! After travelling for 50 mins to get there, he was closing my file and waiting for me to go home within 2 mins flat , surely they could have just told me that on the phone. Anyway, while I was there I mentioned the blind spot Ive had in my eye since last Weds that the midwife wasnt bothered about. He said he would refer me to an eye specialist as it could be linked to my heart (I have a bicuspid valve) and maybe a neurologist . I was on the bus home when the hospital called me and said they'd got me an appt in the eye clinic for 4pm today. Quick or what!

    Afternoon all :)

I finished glossing in the baby's room last night, and then we went to Ikea when DH got in and bought the wardrobe, storage units and curtains, so it should look like a proper room (minus the cot) by the end of the week :) We also got a lovely cot mobile, and some extra towels and flannels just for baby. Hopefully we'll be able to order the cot tonight, as the John Lewis vouchers should arrive today (hubby gets 9% off them through work). I'm really excited about getting all the furniture set up :j Will pop some photos up when it's done!

Hope everyone's having a nice day, hugs if not, and labour vibes to the boldies :p

My bag hasn't been cancelled? Well no e-mail and just logged into direct and it says created so probably will get cancelled soon. rj, I realised yesterday how close pengam was - 0.85 miles apparently, and we'd already been there. It just feels really empty to me somehow...

ooo, my mum's from Pengam! Small world! :)

My order finally got cancelled too, never mind worth a try :D

Had a horrible dream last night which has thrown me today. dreamt that it was Mini_cubs funeral but no one turned up because they had already been to my previous children's funeral.

She is still kicking but tears keep falling now. :( hopefully will get some lunch and will feel better.
