Katyliz huge hugs. Hopefully if the consultant isn't panicking then it might just be a slow week growing wise? At least they're going to keep an eye on you both. Like Ikkle said write anything down that you want to ask. Must be hard not to worry xx

For those who want to use reusables I really wouldnt commit to a specific brand or type. All different babies suit different things and it'd be such a waste to spend ££££ and then them not work. Id say get a few different brands, try them out and then decide.

Someone on here mentioned it from when she had her baby earlier in the year. Then it was mentioned to us on the antenatal course a few weeks ago so I guess I was about 33 weeks

I've had mine packed since 32 weeks but that's because we have been doing a fair bit of traveling at weekends so I wanted to have it just in case.

Thanks I know of at least one person who's used those slings and I thought it was a good price to try out and see if we'd use a sling much. Plus at that price if I just use it round the house then it's not a great expense. Some of them are so expensive.

Another sling I was recommended was a mei tai wrap, that are a bit more pricey but are supposed to be good, I may invest in one of those later on as they can be worn front and back I think.

If there is a sling library close to you, they are supposed to be good as you can try different styles out. There isn't one close enough to me.

I've just bought three different styles online so I can try them all out and return the two I don't like so much. Freddie likes being cuddled which is great but it would be nice to have my hands free so I can type on here. It takes me ages to type one-handed and the other day I smacked his head against the table in my eagerness to reply to a particular post
