Vertbaudet have lovely storage boxes. they are a bit expensive, but they constantly seem to have a 30% off code lurking.

Toys R Us have the Pampers New Baby Jumbo Boxes in size 2 and 3 BOGOF at £12.99. I called a local store last night to confirm and they said it was definitely on in-store (but they only had 1 box in stock which was helpful!) They are getting a delivery before lunch, so I will check if they have any after that.0 -
Morning all!
Rups re thrush, I know you don't like the idea of internally inserting anything to deal with the issue, but it is the only way that you will get it to clear up! If you apply cream externally, this will deal with the symptoms but not the cause. So although you may get some immmediate relief, the problem will keep reoccuring. The only way to get rid of it is to treat it with an oral capsule or by inserting cream or a pessary into the vagina. I suffered with thrush for many years so trust me on this one!
Ice cream I was happily eating shippy ice creams from the ice-cream vans for months after finding out I was pregnant! I thought it was the soft scoop stuff that you weren't supposed to eat due to the raw eggs, but didn't realise that it applied to whippy mix as well! Lexie glad you put the record straight on the whole Maccie D's cleaning; my mate used to be a manager at a franchise and they were meticulous about the cleaning schedule of all equipment.
toni I'm planning on using resuables and so are quite a few others on here. To be honest, you will get LOADS of diff advice on which the best ones are - it's down to personal choice and preference and you may find that baby gets on better with one brand than another. I've posted this info before (so soryy to those that have already read it!) but I would suggest you go to www.thenappylady.co.uk and fill in the questionnaire there. She will provide you with a tailor made recommendation based on the answers you give - would be a good starting place! You don't have to pay for the recommendation or buy anything from her, but shoudl help you make a decision about what to get.
LMM hope your hand is better today!
had a mare on the way to work this morning; there's been a big fire near to where I work so traffic was delayed by 45 mins. if that wasn;t bad enough my gear box started playing up and then went totally as I was waiting on the busiest roundabout! It would not go into any gear at all and I couldn't get out of the car or do anything cos it wasn't safe. Shoved my hazard lights on straight away and battled with the gears - finally got it to go and then limped it into work. It was horrendous. Turned the engine off and then started it again when I was in the car park and the gears seemed fine again, but have already told HR that i am leaving early today just in case cos don't want to get stuck in peak time traffic if the car won't move! Will have to take it to the garage tomorrow to get it checked out - that's more expense that we just don't need at the moment! I hate cars.
Hope everyone is having a lovely day today! xxx0 -
Morning all!!
Well here we have bright sunshine! And I have four fully open fingers on my right hand :j took a lot of coaxing so hopefully they might stay open.
Thank you Emsbetcan't believe I'm 35 weeks, so close! Will try and update the list over the weekend without causing too much mayhem as I'll be about. Is this your mums hen party with the spa? That sling looks good too. Did read somewhere about having SPD that a sling close after birth can cause similar pulling so will ask my dr about it. That way I can get extra cuddles with bubba when we're out
Katyliz hope your scan goes well
Bellola enjoy your last day, sounds like a perfect day to me
SM we've only got a Moses basket as we wouldn't fit a cot in our room and my sister bought us one. Saying that the basket will also be a squeeze. If our nursery ever gets painted I'll be doing my washing then I can put it away in the right place.
Re:needy babies at our classes the midwife said the first few weeks (obviously this is general and each bubba is different) babies miss the warmth of the womb and have been comforted by mums heartbeat so they like cuddles. A lot of people have said they're playing up and I shouldn't keep picking him up as I'll make trouble for myself, but must be a shock for poor baby to come out
Bikeless I've been asked by friends if I'm having a baby shower. Still haven't organised anything. Was thinking I might just have a BBQ for baby and our engagement which was in may. Just a few close friends and a little party before the sleepless nights begin. What have others done? Not fancying licking chocolate from nappies etc tbh.
Toni hugs for feeling rough. Seems being pregnant its harder to cope with even minor sniffles to me. Hope you're feeling better soon.
Savage a while back I got some plain plastic boxes from wilkinsons at a decent price. Sure they had coloured ones too.
Walby I've had similar things. I don't think it was urine though, prob just a bit of watery discharge that feels quite wet. Was from quite early on though, maybe just wear a liner to see if it continues? And speak to your midwife? It would happen one time and then not again for a few days/weeks. Are you doing your pelvic floor exercises? Your hubby sounds lovely too
Hope everyone has a good day. Good luck and sending labour vibes to the boldies. Hugs to those needing them xx:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

Still trying to catch up after being on holiday for a couple of weeks. However, I need to ask a question. Last night I woke up and felt a bit damp and I can only assume I had wet myself a bit.
Although, never a bad time to start / keep up with pelvic floor exercises0 -

Aida it must have been fun going out to buy your first pink clothes. I still haven't bought any new pink bits as the shops here are so bad for girls stuff!
Yes, we had a really nice shopping trip yesterday. My hubby was more excited than me about buying stuff for the baby :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
