i had the same problem with my new jeans at the weekend. the band kept slipping down..

oh if i have thrush now what can i do? again they will prob take some sample and send? eek too late today to go to the doc no? can u get over the counter stuff for thrush?

they don't take samples for thrush rups, you can get cream from chemist and try not to eat too much bread or sugar as that can make it worse, and its nothing to worry about, loads of people get thrush.

congrats on team pink Aida anterior just means your placenta is on the front of your uterus.

thanks ikkle. ok will head to the chemist then. phew. i prefer the cream than shoving stuff up there. once i said that to the doctor and she said you have your husband's pen-s up there dont you? silly woman.

ooohh i got told my placenta is pos high. whatever that means..lol

A high anterior placenta is fine Rups - the only time they'll monitor you more is if they find that it's low as this can lead to placenta praevia (although most placentas that are low move up naturally when the uterus increases in size). ETA missed the pos part - yes that's posterior (at the back) and high - I think this is meant to be the ideal.

Aida yay for team pink! Glad the little lady is growing ok. It's just amazing when others can feel baby movement too enjoy your shopping trip!
Rups if your urine is clear then don't worry, as others have said it could be thrush. Use non scented soap etc down there and cotton pants. You can get over the counter stuff like Ikkle said. I'm sure there's someone in southern italy that speaks a bit of English lol. Might be wise to invest in a phrase book? Although at work I've used google translate to communicate to patients on occasions. Do you really have toothache or do you think you're just getting over worried? How long are you going for? This is your last hols before bubba, enjoy it just being the two of you

AFM I have a right hand that's all curled up and can't straighten my fingers even with the other hand. Although still getting tingling. My left hand and arm is very tingling and heavy feeling. Keep forgetting that the right hand isn't working. I've discovered it's hard to 1) wipe you bum with the non-dominant hand and 2) brush and tie up hair with my left hand. waiting for GP to phone me as no appointments.
On a happier note I'm getting my hair done tonight must be at least a year since my last trim lol. So need to get it washed etc before my friend comes. Could be fun as my hair is wild, thick and curly haha.

Hoping we hear some baby news today! Big labour vibes to those needing/wanting them. Hugs to those needing them too xxx

With a week until my due date I begrudge buying more stuff lol. A problem with standard clothing is I have a few maxi dresses but they won't fit as my back has expanded too muc and I the wrong shape for clingy jersey lol. Squished into my shorts a a long sleeved top but I too warm so inns have to wear dirty vest top for driving and change when I'm there. Egret not buying a size bigger in maternity now!

Glad you managed to find a solution to the problem anyway though rj. I admit to having to wear dirty maternity clothes as I've not washed them in time, and didn't buy that many cos I begrudge spending money on clothes that I'll wear for less than a few months at the moment (hence why I bought non-maternity maxi dresses in a size bigger than normal).

Hope they manage to find a solution to your hand difficulties LMM - yay for getting your hair done though - I love going to the hairdresser - have booked my last trim for a week before my due date (if I make it that far).

Well I must get dressed properly and head off to the post office - got a parcel to send out for a fellow MSEr.

regarding the dentist, i had a check up a while ago before i was pregnant and i have a tooth (wisdom) that she said is decaying and could be removed so she said to decide when want it out and go to kings college where theyt remove it. me hating dentists, i ignored it. oops. so at times i feel a bit of pain..

we have phrase books etc and am taking notes with me. i hate having teeth out so ignored it. wasnt very clever so i hope i dont suffer now.
