Anyone got a nursing chair? I'm thinking of getting one and wonder where is good to go try some out...
I had one when DD was a baby and hardly used it, it's been used as a clothes horse for the last 10 yearsI'll have to dust it down and try to remember where I put the footstool for it so I can try again this time.

Ladies, this morning is THE day! In less than an hour I'll be waiting outside the scan area.I hope I'll be the first person. Little bit scarred but more excited. We will see our baby!!!
News and updates in less than 3 hours.:smileyheaBaby Aida is here :j:j:jBaby fund - £3140/£60000 -
Good luck Aida
It's nice to have the appointment in the morning so you're not waiting all day getting nervous.
LMM - I do have slight finger numbness, but I have that anyway without pregnancy, so I don't know if it's a normal pregnancy thing or not. The weirdest thing for my hands at the moment is my fingers have started to shrink! Everyone else seems to be removing rings for swelling, but I've taken mine off so I don't lose them. My wedding ring kept falling off this week and I'm worried I'll lose it when I'm out.
Can't believe the cost of that cup thingy! Definitely not very MSE!!
Have a good day everyoneCross Stitch Cafe member no.800 -

Morning all!
Good luck for your scan today Aida - look forward to hearing all about it when you're home again.
Just had a text cancelling my childminding for today and tomorow as the Mum and daughter are both poorly. There goes my only income for the summer as they're going on holiday next week for the rest of the holidays.
For those of you who are looking for cups for expressed breast milk, these were recommended by the breastfeeding counsellor at our NCT session. Not too expensive either.
Had really puffy feet yesterday that wouldn't go down just by putting my feet up on the sofa - they were very uncomfortable, but luckily I put my legs up on 2 old sofa cushions overnight and they've returned to a normal size again. Will mention it to the midwife on Friday, as I've never had them take so long to go down before, and I was sitting in a chair most of the day yesterday (albeit with my feet on the floor though). Also had an upset tummy (wondering what the kids have got wrong).
Well I'm off for some breakfast now as I'm starving.
Hugs to all who need or want them, and labour vibes where appropriate.

Good luck with the scan Aida and good luck for imminent baby Jedi!
Not sure if anyone else had an email about a new Huggies comp, but looks good and like lots of prizes. https://www.huggiesclub.co.uk/promotions/superdry/unlock-a-gift
I didn't win though
Now, TMI warning and apologies for this. But, this morning I went to the loo then whilst washing my hands I noticed a blob of something on the floor by the loo. I wiped it up, inspected it and it was a large blob of what looked like creamy discharge with some blood mixed in. I'm not sure whether it had come out of me or where else it could've come from! But does it sound like a mucus plug at all? I'm concerned! The last 2 nights I've also had dreams about my waters going on a Wednesday night, aargh I hope they weren't premonitions!0 -
Sounds like your plug to me
you can loose bits of it though, could be a while yet for labour. x

Oh crap! I'm only 36 weeks though, does it definitely happen by a certain length of time? Or could I still get to 40 weeks?0

Boots – They have a baby event starting today…I just checked out the big one in croydon…some clothes are half price, nursery accespries and equipment (bottles included) are on 3 for 2 and nappies are all on buy one get one half price.
Bikeless – Definitely get down to boots then for your bottles as they were all on 3 for 2 this morning J You get a free Avent bottle too from one of the baby clubs.
Nursery Chairs – Not having one as I don’t really see the point and we want to keep the spare room as a spare and use the box room for baby so no space for one. I will BF from my sofa (or my bed if people are round) so really no point for me!
Aida – Good luck! Are you finding out the gender? J:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -
Bellola, sounds like your plug but it can come away weeks before you go into labour, especially if it's coming away in bits. When do you see the mw next?
Good luck today Aida
