Eek scary. Don't see MW til next Weds. Was meant to have 36 week appt this week but we are getting referred to the birthing unit so have the referral, tour and 36 week appt booked in for next Weds when I will be 36 + 6. Just need to get through my last day at work tomorrow then I can relax. I don't want to be sitting here for the next four weeks wondering if everything is a sign of labour so got to keep busy. Luckily the nursery is in a right old mess so that's a start!

We had our active birth class and hospital tour last night. Hospital rooms are horrible, they are small, hot, no tv (!), no comfy chair for OH. So am desperate to get in the pool room of the birthing unit. Am sure the birthing unit is much nicer anyway.

Don't worry bellola - the mucus plug can come out up to 2 weeks before you go into labour, and I read yesterday that if it's coming out in bits, it can even regrow!

if this is your first baby Bellola, i dont think labour will be starting today! definitely sounds like the plug though, as you have described. its a great sign, means your body is recognising the end of the pregnancy and is gearing up for the final push (literally!).

I don't think I'll be paying that price for the cup savage,unless I have to of course. I much prefer LittleMoog's or SM's suggestions simply because of the price:money: good idea to ask if they'll supply one.

That's the chair I want to buy LittleMoog. Not sure I'll get the footstool as well though.

I agree I think the fancy one might be for premature babies or something??
LittleMoog - yours seems to be like a normal beaker but I guess it has measurements up the side so you can see how much is being drunk?

SM's suggestion - I bought one of these for a friend as apparently it helps older babies to drink themselves from a cup without spilling as they can see the liquid in the cup so I'll probably try one of those, at least it'll be dual purpose!

Bikeless I am not totally sure to be honest... it doesn't advertise it it just arrived one day... I'm not sure if it is Emma's Diary or Due Date Club... perhaps somebody who pays more attention will be along soon to confirm!

ok now with one day to go before the holiday, instead of getting excited i am getting worried in case i need to see a doctor/dentist there as they speak no english in south italy. i am so weird i swear. i still have a bit of burning and when i got it checked out last week and my wee was sent off, i rang up on monday and they said its fine, so why the burning still? also starting to feel a tooth ache and i tried booking the dentist but there were no appointments. grrrr. should be excited and not worried. grrrr
