Thanks honeys.xxxx mwah. iw ill start drinking before i leave. i did that last time and then she asked me to go to the loo to remove some. weird how they dont tell you to drink water in the letter or whatever. i wouldnt have known. :)thanks sarara. i have gone and packed an envelope into my notes so as soon as we go in and if she asks i will ask her to write it down and seal it. then i will have a peek later haha and destroy it. hehehehe. hope you are not in too much pain. now that you have written about your hip pain, i think i know why mine are sore too.
we did a bit of walking around when we went to see the olympics football in manchester too.
they feel quite sore even today. meh. cant wait to see bubba. he/she better be good and healthy.

I asked at my 12 week scan if I need to drink water for the 20 week one, and the sonographer said I didn't need to, so I didn't. I didn't have any trouble having an empty bladder at the 12 week one either (not intentional, but was getting bad MS at the time, and having a full bladder made me feel sick, so needed to empty it). She said as I was slim, it wouldn't be a problem, and she'd just come at it from a different angle.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

I was measuring above the 90th line and if DH and I measured bump right last night, I'm even further above it now (obviously will find out for sure from midwife later). I'm secretly hoping this means an extra scan but not sure what the policy is here in my new area.
I just want to see a giant baby in my tummy. Ha ha.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £1.42 Dec24

had midwife appt earlier today - i am now 41 weeks pregnant (according to my early scan) i did try to see if midwife would change my due date by my ovulation date as i did keep charts but she was having none of it lol
offered a sweep again today which i declined, offered one wednesday which i declined, offered induction friday which i declined. i wanted to as least go to 42 weeks to give baby natural chance to come. so after the midwife being on the phone for about 10 mins they decided for me to have appt at hospital on friday - they will monitor baby to see if everything is ok, i can have a sweep if i want but if baby is showing signs of distress then they will induce me:eek: if everything is ok then they will continue to monitor me every few days at the hospital.
the appt did stress me out a bit as there is so much pressure for intervention.
i have called and left a message for a midwife/reflexologist who i have heard can have a go at bringing on labour - will see what she says when she calls me back.

rups- best of luck for your scan today, it will be fun, i didnt need to drink anything for my 20 week scan but different hospitals might have different policys. re finding out the sex, if you really cant come to agreement - maybe make an agreement like if you agree not to find out the sex....you can name the baby.
i havent worn socks for a couple of months they just make me too hot. velcro or slip on shoes for me too.:jMarried 16/07/2010, ds1 born 11/08/12, baby due 08/05/20150 -
I can't stand slip on shoes/sandles. They just fall of my feet and I'm constantly trying to kill myself with them on the stairs. lol. Yes, I have no co-ordination. Ha ha.
I get DH to put them on for me now before he leaves for work. I get really sweaty feet so like socks to stop my shoes smelling. Ha ha.
Rups I don't really have an opinion about the gender thing. But I hope scan goes well for you. I was told to drink water in my 20 week scan letter, but I didn't drink much because at my 12 week scan they were going to make me empty my bladder because it was too full. :rotfl: I think it depends on us (obviously we are all different), baby and the sonographer as well. I'd probably drink a small glass of something and take a drink with you to sip in the waiting room.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £1.42 Dec24

Well done Laura for sticking to your guns regarding induction - I don't want to be induced either, and have put it on my birth plan under the general comments part. I'd much rather baby comes in his own time as long as he and I are ok. Moon also feels the same after we had our lesson on inductions at NCT, so hopefully he'll back me up if they try to pressurise me into one.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Rups, they should put the locations of the placenta in your notes with the results of you scan.
Toni, it maybe that your friend's epidural was put in too high up. My sister still suffers from a bad back after her first 6 years ago, she said they put it in wrong initially and had to take it out and do it again :undecided.
