Gemma. Happy birthday for yesterday and Happy Anniversery for today:D
Moneypuddle I love your nursery. You can tell you spent ages to sort it out. Everything looks really nice and I'm sure your little one will be very happy and confortable. Oh and Happy B-Day for yesterday.
rjh090384 You still have few day to go until your EDD. Why are are you waiting to go in labor early than that? Hope you'll give birth soon.
Rups Good luck today! I'm really nervous for you but I'm sure everything will be OK.
So sorry to hear about your argument with your OH . To be honest he is a little bit inconsiderant and also booking a small break without letting you know:eek:?!?!? I find the gesture a little bit selfish IMO.
How you've managed to book your NHS classes already? My MW said that she will let me know about these classes at 28 weeks appointment.
Jen thank you for posting your birth story. Is the epidural that effective? I hear ladies saying that that method is really good, but do you still feel pain? I would love not to feel anything during the labor especially the last bit...
Congratulation for your little girl :j.:smileyheaBaby Aida is here :j:j:jBaby fund - £3140/£60000 -
Got my 34 week appointment today (I'm 35 wks today), with the new midwife after the move. I'm very excited about it and I have no idea why. Also have the 2nd session of baby school as we have christened it tonight. Tonight is about labour and pain relief.
I had an awful nights sleep last night. Decided I couldn't go to bed until I'd cleaned the kitchen and tided the bedroom so it was 1am before I went to bed. Then the dog woke me up at 3.45 am, she wanted a wee. Then she woke up us at 6.15, because she needed the other (DH hadn't walked her the night before to empty her out...so his fault). Then DH's alarm was going off from 7am until 8am, he kept hitting snooze. I'm exhausted now.
Still, don't have anything major to do today - although I was just about to go for my shower and DH has put a wash on, so I'll just sit round for a bit now, the shower goes nuts when the washing machine is on. He's such a pain. :rotfl:Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

dizsie you are so funny. i know right! what a BIG deal about it. why cant he just agree to not finding out and me finding out? its annyoying but i dont want to argue further. i suppose i can back down otherwise the rest of the months wll be such a pain where he WILL make sure he sees me slip up. i know him, he is so childish. lol do you know yours hon?
ohhh your car boot sale sounded exciting. where did you go as we are trying to find some around here too. easier when we have a car though.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

thanks Aida. am a bit nervous to be honest. i mean i should be thinking about the baby's organs and how he/she is forming and here i am worrying about the gender. agh. silly me. i am looking forward to it but a bit worried and i promise when i am back i will be relieved and enjoying this more and more.
do i have to drink water before i go? nothing was mentioned again. am wondering whether to take some lucozade or coke with me too in case i am sent off to drink again. hehe.. also i know i asked before but is missionary position ok and not harmful for bubba?thanks.x

lol at your DH playing with Beanie LittleMoog - that's really cute! I love it when Moon kisses my tummy to kiss our Bean. I do have to encourage him to talk to Bean though, as he obviously feels a bit self-conscious about it.
Good luck for your scan today Rups - I hope you and DH manage to come to a compromise that suits you both, rather than you having to suppress your feelings at the expense of his. The envelope idea may be the best one for you, that way if you or DH decide later on, you can find out then. You need to do what you feel, and not let other people pressurise you either way (this includes friends and family, and even us).
Hope those in pain and feeling poorly are feeling better soon - Moon brought home a really irritating cough from work last week, and now I've got it. It made me feel really sick yesterday as room in my tummy is very cramped too, and every time I cough, I get tummy ache. I also got that weird feeling faint and sick thing again yesterday morning whilst playing a game on here, and had to go back to bed for a couple of hours. I've got a midwife appointment (34 weeks) on Friday so may mention it to her if it happens again.
I've just printed off the NHS birthplan form and filled it all out. It's 10 pages long, so I may end up redoing it and making it into 1 side of A4 as recommended by the NCT teacher, as surely the hospital don't have time to be reading through 10 pages of notes when you get there. I've stipulated no visitors during or after the birth apart from Moon (obviously using his real name) without my consent, so that if anyone does show up at the hospital, they won't be let in. Feel happier knowing that instruction is in writing now too. There's some useful videos on the NHS choices website if anyone wants to have a look.
Well I've written an essay again, so I'm off to go and get a drink as feeling quite thirsty.
Hugs to all who need or want them, and labour vibes where appropriate.
