thanks for the tip rjh. will try and remember that cream.:)
to be honest, i dont think anyone is in a position to judge anyone about staying at home or going back to work. like it was mentioned, we all have our own reasons. We should just respect whatever decision anyone makes right? :0) some are lucky and can stay at home and wish to. some have to work. it all depends on situations.

You should rups. It's very expensive around £10 I think but it's worth every penny lol.

Re going back to work. I have no choice but to go back october at the latest tho I hate to do it. And being self employed from then if I want to have another I will need to save like bejesus to e able to take any more than six weeks for the next one. It's mad! I worked hard for two years to get my qualification so can't stay out of practice too long but I didn't imagine it would be so soon that I would need to go back :(

I guess me too. I know with DHs job we can survive but need the extra cash for additional things otherwise it will be extremely tight. Finding out from the other girls about nurseries in Croydon gave me a shock and a half. didnt realise it was so expensive. ;(

My other half will have te same two days off every week so I can work those two days to save childcare costs. Then after Christmas I can add a day or two and he will be old enoug to go to nursery. Prices in Cardiff are s 38-45 a day i think similar in northern Ireland. Dunno where we going to be living yet tho lol.

That is quite reasonable to be honest. where my brother is in the South east, they pay i think 60 per day. In lewisham my friend found a nursery for around 35-45 i think. that isnt too bad either. hmm croydon is more expensive that i thought. :( god i am always hungry. lol

If anyone hears of a man being murdered in Leeds tonight I take full responsibility. One of my OH's friends has driven all the way from Trowbridge to Leeds and turned up on our doorstep to stay without telling us until he was parked outside and I think I might throttle him.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I'm in Northern Ireland and my nursery is £36 per day, and I thought that was expensive. My friend is looking at a nursery about 7 miles away from ours and it's £31. I've heard it is good, but the opposite direction from my work, so doesn't suit. We're not in Belfast though. I think it's a little more expensive.

I'm finding the movements of this baby much stronger than those of our DD. Maybe it's because it's a second pregnancy, but with my DD I felt movements from 18 weeks and it felt like she was swimming. Like waves, or a smooth motion for the first few months. With this baby I felt movements at about 16 weeks and it is more jumpy. Now at nearly 21 weeks the movements feel so strong. Like the baby is jumping around frantically!

ikkle thats so weird when people do that. your comment made me laugh though. Happens a lot in Indian households where people just turn up! i hate that! hopefully no one will come to ours as they find it too far. haha

wow CL great to know your baby movements are strong. :) i am still waiting and am eager (am 17.5 weeks). just now i was speaking to my sis in law and she asked me if i felt any movement and i said not yet and the midwife said sometimes it takes up to 20 weeks or more to feel anything esp if first baby and she said its a lazy baby. grrrr i mean she has two kids so she should know right?

Maybe this one is a boy then! We want a surprise. I think DH would like a boy, but he said since having our DD he can't imagine having or wanting anything other than another her. I'd quite like another girl. I'm not sure how to deal with a boy!
