Ikkle- Thanks for replying, it's not that I dislike my parents or feel bad for being here, i'm actually in a pretty good position, it's just having your own personal space and doing things in your own time i'm missing a little bit. All of our HA are through our council I think. On the homebid website I have to bid on they have affordable rent properties but you have to bid on those too, i'm bidding every week but dont think my 10 points will get us very far lol. I was looking at benefits before I found out about redundancy but my company are saying that i'll be getting my statutory redundancy pay, additional redundancy pay from them, and will be getting all of my SMP in one lump sum, so not sure if that would all then count as savings? With my accrued holiday and last month's pay it would all come to around £9500 which I would love to use on a deposit but that includes the SMP which i'll need for the time i'm off with Flump and to buy large baby bits etc, so not sure if that money would affect anything?
I think the savings cut off is £6000 and then they make deductions based on the amount over that so you could look into it. Have you looked on sites like entitledto where you can input your info. I know what you mean about losing your personal space as I ended up living back with my grandparents for a little while and it's just not the same as having your own space but hopefully it won't be for too long. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Oh Diszi you should defo look for a Sainsbury's near you that sells clothes, the store I work for had lots of Hungry Caterpillar baby clothes in from coats and sleeping bags and things and they often get reduced in the sales too to really good pricesYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

do they still have it all?:jBaby Boy born December 20120

Ah thanks Ikkle, I will definately have another look at those sites, I use turn2us most of the time will try entitledto as well.
Dizsie- I have 2 huge Sainsburys in my town, maybe smaller ones dont stock it, i've just googled and I dont think they sell clothes onlineI checked on Ebay too, they do have some of the stuff but not the prices I paid for them. It would defo be worth a trip to a store that stocks it as they seem to have shares in Very Hungry Caterpillar lol.

Welcome cherrydrop, I'll add you to the list now. ((hugs)) for being made redundant. I was made redundant at 16 weeks.
Dizzi, lovey picture. I covered some little drawers in hungry caterpillar paper this week for baby's room

Eric Carle actually created a range specifically for Sainsbury's that's why the sell a lot of it lol. I've never bought any of the stuff in fact considering we get staff discount you would think i would have bought more baby clothes from Sainsbugs than the 2 t-shirts I've bought lol.You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Lol, I find that too, I work in a fashion retailer (dont know if i'm allowed to say who!) but we get staff discount and I dont buy half of my stuff from there, how moneysaving are we lol.0 -
