Morning all,

Sorry I wasn't round much yesterday, I went to visit happy in the day and then I went to my antenatal class last night. Last night's class was about feeding. We cover both bf and ff and it was lovely that she went through the pros and cons of both and didn't push the bf and kept saying what's best for you is best for baby. This was such a change from what I've heard about these classes.

Congratulations Robyn - we were wondering if you were having mummy cuddles as we'd not heard from you for a bit.

Had an awful night's sleep last night - had nightmares and then woke up roasting hot, had to put a cold flannel on my head and still couldn't sleep. Woken up early as well by the teenagers over the road who's car had broken down, so have an almighty headache now and given up on the idea of sleep, especially as every time I lie down now, Bean thinks it's time to have a part in my tummy! Meeting a friend for drinks at lunchtime, so will have a nap when I get home provided it's not too hot then. Moon is off work today, so hopefully he'll be able to do some more tidying - think I'll ask him to clean the bathroom as I can't really do the bath easily any more, and the shower curtain definitely needs a wash in the machine as it's getting mildewy.

Hugs to all who need them, and labour vibes where appropriate. I'm off to eat some breakfast now and hope it makes me feel more human.

Morning ladies

Congratulations Robyn! Joshua is a lovely name It would be on my list if we didn't already know someone with a baby of the same name!

I took my rings off last night as my hands were all hot and puffy, and forgot to put them back on this morning. I feel a bit naked without them Think I'll have to find a chain to keep them on, I don't like being without them.

DH's grandma rang last night and said she wanted to buy us something for the baby, so we've asked her to get the cot and mattress. We're going to look at one in John Lewis over the weekend, but otherwise I like the M&P Bibbi cot, so we'll go with that if we don't like the JL one.

Hope everyone has a good day, this has felt like a very long week even though I was still on hols on Monday! Roll on the weekend!

Morning everyone

It's a bit cooler here today thank god, and my foot swelling has gone down, phew!

Slept well but got up about 6 times for the loo, but don't feel too bad yet.

Very nearly killed my neighbours last night:mad:...the parents are away and the kids had a party all night that was still going at 6am when OH left for work today :eek:...I did call the police bu they said it is not a police matter and a job for Environmental Health (who don't open til 9.30am) so I didn't get to sllep until about 3am and then up with OH's alarm at 5.30am ...VERY GRUMPY!!!

By 7am it had wound down and there was no noise since 6.30am so I considered going over and knocking repeatedly on the door but no doubt that would be a police matter and I would be the one who ends up in trouble!!!

Was off work sick yesterday as I had had no sleep for the previous two nights being physically sick all night... can't seem to keep evening meals down at the moment but fine in the day except tired as no sleeping :mad:

Not the happiest bunny right now...

Hugs for those feeling poorly or sleep-deprived. Still got a headache, but battling on. The bin men come today and it's recycling, so Moon and I have been going through leaflets and paperwork to see what can be chucked. I'm choosing to ignore the pile on the desk sitting next to me at the moment though - will give me something to do in a couple of weeks when they collect recycling again. Went through my work bags too, so got rid of some old timesheets etc.

Suppose I'd best get dressed as I'm meeting my friend in town at 12 and need to eat before I go (the pub she's picked is extremely expensive for food and I simply cannot justify the cost when I won't be earning anything for a while).

Moon has cleaned the bath and the shower curtain and towels are in the washing machine. He's going to do the toilet etc when I've gone out so that I'm not constantly in there trying to use it when he's cleaning it. lol

Well I'd best be off then.

I'm sorry to hear that some of you are struggling sleeping. I get so grumpy when I don't get my beauty sleep! Luckily our neighbours are usually quiet (with exceptions!) and the weather isn't too bad here.

I have no plans for today apart from studying. I have no motivation though as I'd much prefer shopping for bits for the baby but I'm sure I'll find a way.

Speaking of shopping, I went to get my free huggies pack from asda yesterday and there are some money off vouchers that are only valid in RI. Am I allowed to offer them to anyone here?
