Thanks LMM. i never know what size to get tankini wise. well bravisimo size i was (sayin that as i have changed now) 32GG so now i am prob bgigger and have huge hips too so hopefully if i order a 14 too it might help? i am ordering tonight been putting it off.

I still have my bikini top which I wear with trunks. I have given up trying to hide my stretch marks and figure under water you can't see much anyway.

my cousins wife has been in hospital all week and at 38 +4 they have induced her. She has had a rotton time of it ever since 4wks and finished work at 30wks as she couldnt cope anymore.
I do hope everything goes well for them now as she is is in the best place but apparently baby is showing no signs of wanting to move so i guess she may need a c sec soon as was induced yesterday.


Hope everyone else is okay and keeping those ankles down x

Rups I was a 14 before which is why I went for a 14. I ordered online and somehow I opened a next account. It suddenly said thank you for your order and I was like I haven't paid! So be careful! But you could order a couple of sizes and see what they're like and return. It was good that I had the account as I tried one on, didn't bother with the other as first fitted so nicely, then just paid for one and returned other to the shop

Ferrety good luck to your cousin and wife. Hope baby arrives safely. Do let us know. I get excited about any baby news now lol

All well at mw, they were lovely for a change. Maybe being the last one of the day didn't help previously.

Rups I explained to them about being my first pregnancy and they told me that whenever I'm worried that I should call them so I'm passing this on to you. If you're worried about your pain, give your mw a call. It wasn't that simple as 'the pain is normal', they asked me a series of questions so it's probably best if you call the mw and explain what's going on for you.

ferrety - I hope all goes well for your cousin's wife.

Milliebob - I had to remove my belly button piercing a couple of weeks ago as had pain and itchiness in that area. Ended up the pain wasn't because of the bar, but the itchiness was, so maybe there's something about having a piercing there that makes it itchy?

Had 34 week MW appt this afternoon. All good and baby is 4/5 engaged. I was excited about this til I googled and found that baby could come back out again. Let's hope not!

Hope everyone else is doing ok in the heat. Still got swollen feet here and hands are starting to get a bit puffy too.

Pleased to hear your mw apps went well bikeless and bellola.

bellola if your hands are getting puffy be careful with wearing rings. Mine got stuck the other day and I had to wait ages for them to go down (despite running them under a cold tap for ages) before I could get them off. I'm keeping mine off now during hot days as I don't want to end up cutting the circulation off and having to have them cut off.

Well I've just put Bean's freshly-washed clothes, blankets and hooded towel away in the new chest of drawers. I've put nappies etc in the top drawer so I can get to them easily during a nappy change (will do this on top of the chest of drawers), sleepsuits and clothes in the middle drawer, and blankets etc in the bottom drawer. Quite pleased with how it all looks, and there's still plenty of room if we get given anything. Just need to find a nice bin to put next to the change table for the nappies to go in, as I don't want to get one of those disposal systems. Trouble is, now I've done all of this, what else am I going to do to nest? I'm 32 weeks on Sunday.

bellola - my hands are getting puffy too, but it's literally my hands, not my fingers. I look very strange lol!

sexymouse and ikkle I don't think I'm ever going to have your problems with running out of baby stuff to do. I think it's the thought of having nothing to do later that stops me getting on with anything now. I didn't have much washing to do today, so I thought about washing the baby clothes I got last week, but immediately decided to do it nearer the time.

I've been so lazy today, sat around doing nothing and eating. In this heat I just want ice cream and chocolate, I'm finding trying to eat meals such a pain. There is really nothing I fancy except really unhealthy snacks. I've let myself eat rubbish all day, but I'm going to have to force myself to eat properly tomorrow for baby.
