    Back from the hospital, baby movements ok but they want me back asap to keep monitoring baby and try and fit me in sooner on labour ward. Got poked again which restarted contractions that had died away a bit, but either way should have baby in next day or thereabouts.

    So this is my last post as I have to go back shortly. No natural labour for me as they need to monitor me but never mind.

    And congrats Lixi!

    Finally completed my Maternity Allowance form. Still waiting for my MATB1 form and SMP1 form back from work despite chasing for months now :(

    Thank you for the number Emsbet I managed to go through it with them over the phone all the details to make sure what I thought was correct is correct.

    All ready and in an envelope so as soon as work send me the forms it will be posted and sorted.
    Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500
    Competition wins 2015 = £1400

    I can see I've just missed you AMC, but sending positive vibes your way for as much of a pain-free labour as possible.

    Just washed the second-hand baby clothes, blankets and a new baby jacket using the soap nuts. I tested them on a load of our bedlinen first to make sure they washed ok. It's roasting out there, so I'd imagine it will all dry pretty quickly - realised whilst I was hanging it up, that I had absoluely no idea how to hang up a sleepsuit - ended up hanging it up by the crotch so hopefully any peg marks wont show. Hung the vests up by the corners of the hips. Found that one of the second-hand baby blankets (fleecy one) has a big stain on one corner, but I'm hoping that by hanging it on the outside line that the sun will bleach it out - it's not too noticeable, but I'd rather it not be there at all. Haven't washed any of the other new stuff yet just in case we find out that Bean is going to be huge further down the line and I have to exchange it all for bigger sizes.
    Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    went to the main shopping centre in town at lunch to investigate New Look's sale and while I was there, Next. Waste of time ladies... maternity selection minute and none on sale in New Look here :( Maybe Debenhams is better but didn't make it that far. Online for me I think!
