I have an Amex one which is cashback too - they are lethal! But I do generally try and pay any amount off I spend immediately I have spent on it....it didn't happen this month though what with moving into a new home and all the expense that comes with that....so I am in 2 minds....but if I delay....the sale items will go (which could be a good or bad thing)....so what to do???:(
Dresses look lovely when you are preggers in this weather.....I am thinking that Topcashback might take some of the monetary hit - then it won't seem quite so much.....!:)
I'm just wearing basic maxis/midis which I wouldn't dream of wearing before I was pregnant 'cause they're so clingy. Now I'm not giving a hoot :rotfl:My Debt Free Diary

I really need a couple more dresses though, boohoo have 20% off dresses but I can't find a free delivery code and I grudge paying it - might just have to bite the bullet though 'cause I know they fit and are comfy. How annoying!
Have you tried the code they are talking about here???

Being tempted by the online Cath Kidston sale at the moment - wondering if I can justify spending £50 on "stuff" (theres some lovely baby stuff on there that I just don't need but it is lovely!!!!) whilst on maternity leave......whilst OH is at work.....I am getting a guilty pang at the moment which is stopping me!:o
Now I'm on the website trying to decide if I can justify ordering any of the things I want, also my Mother is in love with anything Cath Kidston so am thinking I should order for her birthday!?New first time mummy to a gorgeous little boy!

Abis - thank you SO much for your post, it's great to hear a really positive induction story! I hear far too many horror stories! Lovely to see you on here too, hope everything is going well with you - miss chatting with you

Dida and Claree - I am so with you on the money thing... we have an AMEX BA air miles card and used to do all of our spending on it, and pay off in full every month, but with our new budget since I've been on maternity leave we have decided not to use it as I find it much easier to keep track of spending when we don't. I am pretty obsessive about checking bank account/credit card daily and paying off the card almost weekly, but even so there would be extra little purchases I'd forget about! We still use it for big things to get the points and once we are used to the new budget I expect we'll use it loads again.
It can be quite hard to pass time without spending money!!! I was thinking of going out and treating myself to a coffee and a cake to pass the time but decided to be more :money: and so made myself a cappucino with my nespresso machine and ate a piece of homemade cake (it's not like I haven't done any baking lately...) instead!
DH has announced we are going on a date tonight... I think he's hoping the baby will inconvenience us and my waters will break half way through... cinema and pizza express (with a voucher, obviously!)
Dida - I don't have an ice cream maker in my kitchen gadget collection! Honestly, it's just the coffee machine and the magimix :rotfl: (well, I do have a kettle and a toaster, but I don't think that's anything too exciting)
My SIL just sent a text telling me that I can increase my levels of natural oxytocin by feeling loved up... so I should go for dark lighting, romance and affection..... err a) has she met her own brother? (DH) and b) being massive and overdue and affectionate/romantic don't really seem to go hand in hand!!!!! But I replied very politely and thanked her for the advice
*trots off to look at the Cath Kidston online sale....*0 -

And I'm browsing too!! I don't even like Cath Kidston stuff that much, but now I've seen the 'bunnies' baby range which is all discounted I want to buy it all :rotfl: Now, where's that AMEX card.....?0 -
Uch fine, if you all insist - I'll go look at Cath KidsonMy Debt Free Diary

Put the cards away girls! (sorry!!) - I have decided to have lunch and think about it (something I would never have done before mat leave!)
Have a lovely time this evening mrsj28 - Pizza Express is one of my faves but too far from me to risk going there at this stage! What are you going to see at the cinema?? One of my "local-ish" cinemas does a "big scream" where you can take babies so maybe I can continue going after (when!) baby arrives! I am still jealous of your "grown up" mixer though - I don't have anything other than a wooden spoon!:D0 -

We are going to see Great Gatsby tonight. I've heard of Big Scream, sounds like a great idea - I don't think we have one near us, but I'll try and find out! It's about a twenty minute journey to get to Pizza Express, not too far away but far enough that it might be a bit inconvenient so I'm hoping the baby will take advantage of sod's law....0 -
